This was my first time using Brooks and Shorey and I had a great experience during the whole process. When I first was looking at properties I was able to speak to someone over the phone that was very helpful. Brooks and Shorey provided great communication throughout the process and they checked in on us upon our arrival with all the necessary info we needed for the condo. We enjoyed the condo, there were some minor cosmetic things but nothing that caused any problems. The condo was very spacious and was clean upon our arrival. The couches looked a little aged but we just put a sheet over them and it was fine. The master bed wasn't the most comfortable bed but nothing can compare to your own bed at home. There was more than enough silverware, plateware, utensils, etc. that we needed. There was a standard coffee machine and a keurig type machine so we were impressed with both of these. The stainless steel appliances all worked great. The view of the beach from the balcony was just gorgeous and we loved looking out there every morning while eating breakfast or drinking our coffee. I would recommend Gulf Dunes and we had a great experience with Brooks and Shorey so I would work with them again.

Everything was great except for some much needed additions: additional forks (only 3 salad forks and 3 dinner forks means your hand washing after every meal) clean the range vent, it does not suck up steam, or smoke from cooking. Additional kitchen towels and much needed bathroom hand towels. I purchsed a spatula and left it for the next renter, kitchen did not have one. (Hard to flip an egg, fish, anything without one🤔)

Stay: 8/26-9/1We are not complainers and we have stayed her 3X with no issues. However the room is very dated according to the photos as described on the app/website. The condo was absolutely filthy when we arrived and I had to clean before we could even put our toddler down to play. We arrived Saturday and it took until Monday morning for the refrigerator to catch up, had even know we wouldn’t have gone to buy groceries that’s the majority we had to throw away because they were warm.

The condo was clean, great location, and wonderful view. We enjoyed the spacious balcony in the mornings and evenings. Only complaint was the refrigerator wasn't cooling like it should, and we had to throw out some items we bought at the store. When I reported the issue to the front desk it was fixed in no time. We will stay here again.

View and beach very nice close to lots of things.the only problem was the sliding doorwas hard to close but was going fux that right away. Overall, this condo is a great place to stay and we would definitely come back. Very clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the kitchen faucet but maintenance was friendly and had it fixed that day. The only negative is the patio furniture was stained and the single chaise was broken.

We enjoy staying with Brooks and Shirley. Everyone is very nice. The only problems we had were: There was as used chewing gum on the bed rail of one of the bunk beds, the sliding class doors did not slide correctly and would not lock. The sofa and love seat needed cleaning. Other than that everything was clean and comfortable. I called Brooks and Shirley about the gum and they sent someone over to take care of the gum.

The condo was clean and nicely decorated. The complex and grounds were well-maintained and clean as well. We had a slight issue getting the internet to work and it was resolved quickly and easily. The kitchen is well-stocked, but needs a baking sheet. We would have liked additional bedding as there were not enough pillow cases for all pillows and the comforters were very thin. Furniture was pretty comfortable and in good condition. Views of the gulf were great! We appreciated the included beach service. We went on one Dolphin cruise and had fun, but did not get a chance to use other included activities due to weather.

The unit overall was very nice and had a great view of the beach. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and watching the sunsets from the balcony. We saw dolphins in the water every morning around 7-8am. The location is close to shopping and restaurants.The only issue we had with the condo was the popcorn ceiling falling from the ceiling.You really could not eat at the counter due to pieces of drywall falling every time the AC came on. We did report this to the rental agency, but it appears to have been going on for a period of time. Beyond that slight inconvenience the Condo was great!

The beach there at Gulf Dunes is great. The condo was wonderfully furnished for our crew that filled every bed. The kitchen had almost everything we could want and we cooked something every day, even making cookies. The WIFI was great for the folks who had to log a few hours for work. There were several TVs, with cable, but we were so occupied that we barely turned it on. Our readers in the group loved the comfort of the balcony for their quiet time. I'm not sure if it was just because it was winter, but the parking was plentiful, which worked out well for our 4 cars, as we were coming from different directions. I would love to return to this location again. Lots to do on the island and nearby as well. Walk to ice cream, goofy golf, restaurants. So much to enjoy whether you are a nature lover, reader, foodie, athlete.

We were impressed the minute we opened the door! We had a 2 bedroom condo that was decorated beautifully and equipped with everything you could possibly need or want. In the past, we had rented places that claimed to be oceanfront, only to be disappointed because you needed binoculars to actually see the ocean, but this condo exceeded our expectations! The balcony was the length of the living room and master bedroom combined with access from both rooms, and you could almost touch the water. The sunrise and sunset views were spectacular, and you could literally hear the waves crashing on the beach! The rental also offered free activities daily, including golf at a variety of courses, even in the off-season. The entire rental process from check-in to check-out was seamless, with no hidden fees. Redeeming our free activities could not have been easier, and the staff at Brooks and Shorey Resorts were very accommodating and helpful. All in all, our vacation was everything we had hoped for, and more! If we could give this experience more than 5 stars, we would. We will absolutely seek rental properties managed by this company for future vacations!

Loved the condo. The view was breathtaking. Would stay here again. We have stayed at several units at Gulf Dunes, this was our favorite, just wished they used the bedding as pictured, the white was sorta bah and most the furniture was stained, but I just put covers on the sofa and love seat. Baseboards and bathroom vanities cabinet were dusty & dirty, there again I wiped them clean myself. A lot of the dishes were not properly cleaned, must not have been rinsed well before putting in dishwasher and were put away in cabinets. Other than that, we were pleased.
