The cottage is perfectly situated in Stoney Middleton - within easy walking distance of a pub, a chippy, an Indian, and a Spar shop - all of which are excellent! The parking was easy and plentiful (unusual in the peak district), the cottage was more spacious than I anticipated, the kitchen was well equipped, the lounge was comfy and the log burner was HUGE! The outdoor seating / dining space was a real bonus, and there was plenty of room for bicycle parking. The hosts were friendly, communicative, responded quickly, and left us some welcome treats. We all agreed we'd happily stay again.

Great Location, nice and quiet, but there are lots of things to do nice and spacious property
The Wi-Fi wasn’t very good couldn’t connect and then when you connect it’s so slow. Needs to have a few more glasses and a few more kitchen utensils. The front door could do with a bit of oil as it is very hard to open. Turn the key.
