Very cute cabin, the long stairway was expected. The managers/owners decorated very thoughtfully (Christmas time). Could have been better cleaned, found a few unsavory bits in a few places around the place. Not a big deal overall. Very good location with one neighbor across the street we didn’t see or hear. Close to Santa’s village which is why we went. 4/5

This house was close to where we needed to be so the location was good. We were disappointed that none of the issues noted in the previous reviews were taken care of. The patios were not clean and there were a lot of dust and spider webs still present- boards loose no comfortable chairs to lounge in -etc. The downstairs toilet was still loose and not fixed and the bed was noisy and uncomfortable. The one sliding door didn’t close. Oddly enough, people had left food in the fridge and cupboards and it was not thrown out during the cleaning process. The most disappointing for us was the jacuzzi- there wasn’t any chlorine in the container, the water was greenish and dirty. There weren’t any stairs to aid us into the jacuzzi -we had to use a cooler. The walk to the jacuzzi was unstable and not lit up well -unsafe. This house needs some TLC.

We’re a 60 year old couple and when we saw the stairs that we’d need to climb with out luggage? It was a workout, especially in the summer heat.
Once in the house, more stairs up to the kitchen level. There are two bedrooms downstairs connected to a shared bathroom. The kitchen and Master Bedroom along with the family room were clean.
However, the beds are not comfortable, especially for a 60 year old. The mattresses need to be replaced with more comfortable ones. Kitchen supplies were nice, TV’s were okay and the jacuzzi was nice at night.

The first thing we noticed was the stairs. It was hot and very tiring for us to carry our luggage up the stairs. And the stairs themselves are a little brittle. Someone over 250 pounds could step right through the stair boards and hurt themselves.
The house was comfortable but there were some things that should be looked at: verticals blinds need fixing, the TV over the fireplace is too high (neck discomfort), the beds were not comfortable.
The house is more like a tree house - there was no yard that you could walk out on - only decks. Some of the doors don’t close completely. The owners should fix the place up a little to address these items.
All in all - this is not a place for older folks. Too much climbing of stairs. The driveway is steep and parking your vehicle can be tricky.
It an ok place but not for everyone.

The dishwasher is not secured to the counter (it won't fall off but it really moves when opening and closing). Patio/deck area which is important in my opinion in a cabin was ok but covered in dust and spiderwebs pretty much everywhere. I sure can dust them myself but it would be more welcoming if it was done prior to get there. There are no reclining chairs outdoors. Some trash under the deck that hasn't been picked up in long time was visible but not in an annoying manner. The stone at the bottom of stairs on the way to the hot tub moves a lot when you step on and could be an issue (hazard?) for an older person.
Again, overall ok, the important parts for me where fine but in my opinion this property sees no love.

This was a great cabin to unwind and relax!
Just a few things..
There was no light outside where the hot tub was. The hot tub lights also didn’t work.
Could use a few more amenities. There was no blender or coffee.

It was a nice place, a little closer to the road than we thought it would be. Otherwise, it was well stocked and very clean. Would recommend!

Although the cabin was clean enough, the pictures are slighty decieving. Would definitely recommend traveling light because the stairs are no joke(and not well lit). The hot tub was not clean so we did not use however cabin is in a good location and close to town.

Just a seven-minute drive away from Lake Arrowhead Village, this cabin has all the creature comforts you need, but if your grocery list is incomplete no big deal. The Village has a suitable grocery store. The owner has thought of everything you might need for a relaxing stay at 301 Emerald. However, one consideration should be the traffic noise in the morning. If you plan to sleep in late on a workday, the noise from the road will put a damper on that idea. Also, the cabin has no A/C and no washer or dryer for dirty clothing. I would stay here again in an instant! The property management team and the owner are super quick to respond to any inquiry you may have.

Beds were fresh and comfy. We didn’t find the driveway difficult like some others posted. The stairs are, however, are intense! Two sturdy adults had a heck of a time unloading all the luggage in the dark and snow. I would recommend arriving right at the 4:00 check-in, so you aren’t in the dark.
Also, lesson learned the hard way- the door will lock behind you. So don’t lock your kids alone in the house and panic, like a couple of idiots.

What a fabulous time we had at your cabin at Lake Arrowhead!! The cabin stay was the nicest place we have ever rented (and we have been in this area many times). The hot tub on deck was so nice after our hike on the heart trail. My wife was worried about cleanliness but this was the cleanest rental we have experienced! You can tell the owner takes pride in his cabin. We can't wait to come back and enjoy more. Also a great burger and malt restaurant and a market just a 2 min. walk from the cabin.

Our goal was a peaceful quite getaway but this property was a nightmare. The non-stop traffic which started at 4:30AM resulted in a sleepless stressful experience. Even with all windows and sliders closed the cars and trucks echoed through the property. Contacted your conflict team trying to transfer to new property even if I had to pay but they offered no help. Ended up spending most of our time away from the property.

Clean and comfortable with easy access to Lake Arrowhead.
Pros: very clean and kitchen equipment was adequate for number or people. Bedrooms were roomy and bathrooms were clean and soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided in dispensers in the shower area. Dining table as well as a smaller breakfast table made it easy to spread out. Freezer was stocked with ice. Yeah. Would have been nice to have a step stool. Other things as Starbucks coffee was a great. Also provided other spices as well as sugar. Location is right off main road so convenient and you still have quiet.
Cons: no air. Even with all the fans going, it was miserably hot. Too hot to use the hot tub.

Lovely House
Adorable house up in the trees. The only downside is that it's on top of a busy road, making the beautiful outdoor areas very loud and not at all relaxing. Otherwise, it's a beautiful home.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway!
This property is exactly as it was described and we were not disappointed. It was just two of us so we just stayed upstairs which was nice and warm with the fireplace! There wasn't any wood for it when we arrived, but that was no big deal. The spa was a little over-chlorinated, but I suppose that is best when you have multiple guests coming/going, just to keep it clean! We would definitely stay here again!
