Apartment 5 - very spacious, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Big living room, big sofa.
The view towards the port is unobstructed because of the big French windows. The window frames are high quality - sound proofing and great heat isolation too. Plenty of storage space.
The terrace is great to enjoy the evenings - the shade protects you from the sun after 2 pm and by 7 pm it is quite cool outside to sit and savour a bottle of local wine.
These are things for future travellers to keep in mind, not criticism for the apartment suites:
- the reception is at Grand Hotel Riva (7 min walk)
- the parking is accessible with an elevator which is 4.90 m long. If your car is bigger - ask at reception.
- there is one washing machine in the building. It is free to use but you need to catch it free (because 16 apartments may want to use it); you also need to bring your detergent;
- also, it would be nice if there is a drying rack provided to put towels and bathing suits to dry in the sun after going to the beach.
- the dishwasher in the apartment is new and they supply the tabs.
- the pots and pans are new and nice but a cutting board could be provided, as well as one or two medium sized knives.
- remember to ask for your "Riva guest card" at reception.
- the view is great but comes at a price - the street is very noisy.
- the city clock tower chimes from 7 am until 10 pm and you can hear it in the bedroom if your windows are open. Luckily, if they are closed - it is perfectly fine and the air conditioner works well.

Excellent location near the tourist center of Riva del Garda. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and beautifully designed, with a large courtyard.
There was a kitchen where we could prepare whatever we wanted.
This may only bother me and might not matter to others, but the water pressure in the shower wasn’t strong enough.
The courtyard is right on the street and exposed to passersby.

Lack of information in the apartment about the facilities or local amenities no oven, no dishwasher or washing machine in the apartment. We later found out that a dishwasher and washing machine was available for communal use. a simple folder within the apartment with all the information would solve the issue. Even when collecting the keys the only thing that was explained was how to operate the garage door and a pin code for the door of the apartment. The garage door which i reported damaged the hire car closing on it as I was driving into the garage, in my opinion this is dangerous.
