Beautiful Grounds

Grounds were beautiful and very close to Volcano National Park. Host was very gracious and prepared a lovely breakfast for each morning we were there. We had easy access to touring the opposite side of the island and it was wonderful to not have to traverse back and forth across the island to visit the areas we wanted to see.

Very dark driving there at night, Kept tripping on loose rugs on the floor. Bathroom vanity had glass knickknacks, reducing room for personal items. Afraid of breaking them.

If you like family style hotel, you may like it more.

The neighborhood is quiet; the people in the neighborhood are really nice. It is very close to the volcano national park. The breakfast is nice and smells so good. The owner is an old lady and the hotel is managed by her daughter-in-law. They are both very nice people. (Most of the photos are for the neighborhood, not the hotel itself)

The house is pretty old. The area is wet and there is no beach access. The color of the beddings looks old, but I am not sure if they are actually old. There is no place to go nearby if you arrive early. I only walked around the neighborhood in the morning the next day.

Perfekter Platz im Regenwald, um den Volcano-Nationalpark zu erkunden und sich von der Gastgeberin verwöhnen zu lassen!

Die Gastgeberin ist sehr, sehr nett und stets bemüht, einem den Aufenthalt unvergesslich zu machen! Sie hatte immer die besten Tipps für Ausflüge parat! Auch mit Erklärungen zur Tier-und Pflanzenwelt hat sie unser Wissen erweitert. Der Regenwald-Garten ist ein Traum! Die Wasserversorgung wird durch purifiziertes Regenwasser gedeckt. Genial! Das Frühstück war superlecker, reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich! 2 bequeme Relaxsessel werten die Zimmereinrichtung auf!

A pleasant stay in comfortable surroundings, make sure you get your breakfast. !

Location for my needs was perfect. Comfortable mattress.

I was running a half marathon from 07:00 - 09:30 and breakfast was only available at 08:00 which I paid for in the price of my room, B&B. It would have been nice to have been offered a coffee, water or pastry on my return at 09:30

Pleasant stay near Volcano park with friendly hosts and good breakfasts

Friendly hosts. Tasty, hearty breakfast. Pretty location. Comfortable bed. A few minutes drive from Volcano park. Charming decor.

Be aware that when the dehumidifier is turned on, it interferes with the the Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz), much like a microwave does. You'll need to conserve water when staying in the Volcano area because people rely on rainwater catchments in this part of the big island.

Joan and Jodi (mother and daughter-in- law) were great hosts and served a wonderful breakfast each morning. We were upgraded to a lovely 2 bedroom cottage. Roomy, clean and the bed was comfortable.

No wifi in the cottage, but it wasn't a inconvenience. A few small issues but nothing major.

A gem less then 10min driving from the Volcanoes National Park

The room is spacious and very well equipped with a lovely patio, the ladies running the place are awesome and the breakfast is to die for!

Charming B&B in the rainforest neighborhood only a few miles from the Volcanoes National Park

I loved the beautiful rainforest neighborhood and the clean and charming way the rooms were decorated. The hosts were wonderful and really enjoyed getting to know them during the wonderful breakfast they provided. it was extremely conveniently located near the Volcanoes National Park and being able to stay late at the park to view the lava at night and not having to drive far at night.

Joan and Judith made us feel at home from the check in until the check out day, with a big smile and a great home made super fresh breakfast! We really enjoyed the stay, surrounded by the sound of the frogs at night, and during the day you can easily reach the Volcano Park The room has everything you need, more than we expected Thanks for having us ❤️

Great location, 5 min away from the National Park.The hosts were very sweet and welcoming. The room was big and bed very comfortable.

The breakfast was good (fruit: papaya, banana, coffee/tea, eggs, pancakes/waffles) but you don't get to choose so if you don't like what they are serving you are stuck with it.

We visited 5 islands over a 3 week visit. This B&B was a highlight.

Owner is an elderly widow lady. She fixed absolutely wonderful breakfast, delicious and healthy. The room we had was decorated very nice, the bed was the most comfortable we have had in many years. It was almost too comfy.....we didnt want to get up in morning . Premises is very nicely maintained, beautful tropical plants . Owner had lived here for like 38 years. She gave us some helpful travel tips for the island.

Nice location, convenient. Breakfast was good.

Power cut off, no electricity, no water. No generator. Not sure when cleaned, bit dusty and used tissues lying around. Stained towels, that had an odor.

Great location, decent place to sleep and shower.

Location is everything! Super close to the park entrance. And coming back from a chilly night hike, having a hot shower and an electric blanket was amazing!

Older furnishings and decor, felt like grandmas house. That may be a positive for some lol. Good place to sleep and shower but I would not want to hang out there. Served it’s purpose for what I needed.

Quaint little place near Volcano

Basically a guest room in the bottom of this sweet lady’s house. she’s been doing this for about 30 years. Homemade breakfast in the morning and great conversation. A great value for the location.

Amazing place in the middle of the rainforest. Joan was a good host, her breakfast kept us going for the rest of the day! The place is pretty close to volcano national park, so you will have plenty of time to visit.
