About this cabin rental
This Rustic Remote cabin was built in 1925 and is located in the Sequoia National Forest which is the home of various wild life such as deer, turkeys, bears and more. Exercise reasonable caution if you encounter wildlife. It is 10.7 miles (approx 23 minutes) from the Visitor Center in Grant Grove Village in Kings Canyon Nat'l Park and less than 20 miles (approx 30 minutes or less traveling on Generals Hwy through the park) to Sequoia Nat'l Park and Shermans Tree. Located off of main road No long dirt driveways to go down. Please be sure to park in your designated parking area. There will be a marker displaying Stansfield Cabin. This clean and cozy cabin sleeps 2. Window unit AIR CONDITIONER IN BEDROOM! Amenities include Wi-Fi, Smart TV, formal dining room, basic stocked kitchen, deck Apartment size refrigerator, Micro-wave and smaller size oven. Cabin has breakfast nook, living area and restroom. This cabin is surrounded by giant evergreen trees. If allergies are a problem, this cabin may not be for you. Cabin is Easy Self-Check In. Single night stays welcome as well as 2, 3, 4, & 5 night stays. In case of snow, snow shovels are provided for guest to use. NO smoking of any kind anywhere on this property in the cabin or outside. Very cute, rustic cabin with a lot of history! The host was there when we arrived which was fortunate because I had not remembered to print out the check-in information and had no service on my phone to see the emails. The restaurant/bar across the street made dinner easy. We saw wild turkeys in the yard which was fun! The back deck was a nice place to relax after a long drive.

On the top of the list for stays! Adorable cabin with charm and lots of history and you can tell the love it's been given. Fully equipped with everything you may need- charming decor and a definite plus across the street from Pinehurst Bar- we really enjoyed the staff and food. Highly recommend and hope we can return someday!

The cabin is beautifully decorated, with historic memoriabilia, and in a beautiful space! It made for such an interesting stay! It's comfortable, with an original footed tub, the cutest kitchen ever, and a very comfortable living room. It's located just across the street from the Pinehurst Lodge, making grabbing a meal very convenient. The host was responsive, and check-in was very easy - she provided all of the needed information before I arrived. Would definitely stay there again!

Cabin looks good in the afternoon or night, during the day time you can see needs a some work and the bathroom shower seem to have mold had a plastic cover for the watwrshower
