We liked everything about this place; the hotel, the employees, the lokation, the surroundings and the very beautiful and cosy city.

the hotel has seen better days, very odd design (many steps on the same floor and even in the room), swimming pool was filled with water but was not available the entire weekend despite good weather…

The location and staff

The room isn’t much comfortable and should be more clean. the breakfast isn’t for a 4 star hotel

-The location is great, walking distance from the village, the bars and the restaurants. -The sea views from the room and the views of the beautiful village of Castelsardo. -The staff was really friendly and helpful. -The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom too. -The hotel is in a quiet area, so there isn't any noise or traffic.

-We don't think the hotel is good value for money. We were expecting more for a 4-star hotel. -We requested a double bed, but it wasn't, there were two single beds put together. Beds were ok, but not extremely comfortable. -Breakfast was alright, but there wasn't much variety. We loved the cut fruit and the croissants. We didn't like the coffee, very poor. -There isn't parking in the hotel, just outside of the property if you're lucky. We didn't have any issues because it wasn't peak season, but I imagine in July-August parking could be an issue.

Hotel bar and terrace was really good. The panorama and the view to the sea from our room was beautiful.

Breakfast was normal (at average), with not so many various vegetables. Pool was not so modern, little dirty.

Lovely room, comfortable beds, good shower, beautifully decorated, well appointed. The bar served a very good Hugo cocktail and there is a good view of old Castelsardo. The breakfast is excellent and a very good range of food choices.

It is a long walk to the restuarants (uphill)and parking is not easy. We therefore opted to have our meal at the resort. It was expensive and disappointing, the worst meal we had in our week's travel round Sardinia.

our terrace wasn’t really habitable, because of the smell and the gutter. We cant open door or window during the night while we sleep because of the smell and insects, so we had to sleep with the air conditioning on which also started leaking through the the walls. Rooms were okay, bed wasn’t really comfortable, no parking for clients although there can be a spot to park outside of the property if you’re lucky. The breakfast buffet is quite disappointing, a lot pre-packaged foods, bread, croissants, juice (which seemed to be made with a powder) even coffee.

Wonderful location with a private beach.. lot of rocks but we loved it. The staff was available to accommodate our requests, they speak several languages. Excellent value for money. Great sea view from the rooms on the third floor.

We asked for twin beds but at our arrival we found a queen bed, they changed it for ours immediately. We found some hair in the shower. Pool service could be improved instead of having to go down a floor to order lunch or a cocktail at the counter. It was annoying having to climb a flight of stairs with suitcases because the lift does not reach the rooms on the third floor.

Very nice hotel with a great view on the see and panorama of Castelsardo. Room was clean, pool was nice. Very nice smelling soap in the bathroom.

Breakfast could be better. The bread and the ham selection was not that good and coffee was very bad in my opinion. But the cakes and fruits were really good.

Hotel is situated in a calm area with a beautiful view to the castle and the sea. The room and the balcony had a direct view to the sea and the pool. The breakfast was good, however after 5 days staying became boring. Everything was fresh and looked delicious. The kitchen is very good, 2x we had supper in the hotel, 3 courses meal.

The hotel has not got own parking spots. Parking is possible on the street in front of the hotel or closeby.

Everything went smooth. The location is pretty close to city center.

The coffee mochine was extremely bad. During breakfast you can expect people to make a lot of coffees. However, the coffee machine was always jamming. Just to give you an example, during our breakfast(30-40 min maximum), you could except two jams from the machine. Sure, the staff was cleaning it etc, but still, sometimes, I could not have a second cup of coffee. The internet: So the wifi can be marked as extremely bad. You had signal, but you could barely open google.com. No chance to have an online meeting, or an online call.

We got there early enough so the breakfast each morning was fine, we did notice that on leaving thing were runing out and were not being replaced however. The air conditioning in the room was a pleasent necessity, the evening air was hot and stuffy so the air conditioned rooms were a big plus for our stay. The lovely housekeeping staff made sure to make our beds each day and have a quick tidy around. The staff at breakfast although clearly overworked were always a pleasure and we were met with good mornings all round.

The room with the 'sea' view was very dissapointing. We were led to believe it was a actual sea view when in reality we had a view of the shared balcony and bulding and in the background we could see the horizon of the sea. The door had a glass panel which offered no privacy at all. The only other window was one against the same wall as the door at a heigh that you couldnt actualy see out of. I havent been to prison before but I assume this is what a prison cell would resemble, minus the air conditionting. The swimming pool which my child used had a rim of scum all the way round, much like if you were to have a bath after being dirty all day. On the first night, the maintenance man had to come to show us the knack of how to lock the bedroom door from the inside becuase it was stiff and had obviously had been bashed around with a hammer before.

Breakfast - too Many cakes. Not a great choice of healthy food. Coffee was horrible.

Excellent customer service by Valentina at Reception and Pina from Housekeeping. Valentina upgraded us to a sea-facing room at a discount and Pina showed us a few rooms until we found the one we were happy with.

Breakfast was a bit messy and the coffee machine did not work 2 out of 5 days. We still got coffee made upon ordering

Location and rooms are perfect

Breakfast time is mesy. Not enough tables, staff slow and doesn’t make you feel conpfortable. Not a good option for kids.
