About this apartment rental
Beautiful apartment beautifully situated in the center of Leiden. With 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and a large bathroom. Perfectly located in the heart of the city, at the end of the shopping street. All terraces, shops, restaurants and theaters are within walking distance. A dream apartment!
The house has a cozy living room with a beautiful wooden floor. The open kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, fridge, dishwasher and combi microwave. There is a place at the living room / kitchen. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size box spring. In the second bedroom there is also a king size box spring, from which two single beds can easily be made. The bathroom has a shower and a wonderful bath to recover from a pleasant day in Leiden. The location could not be better: in the middle of the old town, surrounded by dozens of restaurants, cafes and terraces. You do not need a taxi, because the entire center is within walking distance. Welcome to this top apartment in this beautiful city!

The apartment is on the ground floor. No steps outside, no stairs in the house.
In principle I am only there when checking in and when checking out. But if there is anything, I can always be reached!

At 50m. distance is the bus stop. The Central station is a 10-minute walk (through the shopping street).
There are parking spaces behind the apartment. These are paid parking spaces from 9 am to 9 pm. 300 meters from the apartment is a parking garage. The car can be parked for free outside the center.

Pros:•Extremely close to Pelikkan bus stop (1-min walk), which is a 5-min bus ride from Leiden Centraal train station. Apartment is in a quiet part of the city center & a very short walk to restaurants (Bikini Bikini & Fat Pelican), grocery store, & liquor store. And easy walking proximity to most anything else in Leiden city center.•The apartment was truly spotlessly clean. Very neat & tidy.•Well-appointed kitchen with all amenities as stated in the listing. Host provided starter amounts of coffee, tea, & paper towels. Plenty of dishwasher detergent pods for use during our 6-night stay. Plenty of dishes, utensils, & cookware for our needs during our stay.•Bathroom & toilet room were spotlessly clean. Plenty of shower wash, shampoo, toilet paper, & washing machine pods. There is a large bathtub & a separate, fully-enclosed shower. Ample supply of clean towels available for us.•Both bedrooms have very large wardrobes with ample shelving & hanging closet rod space. Also had extra blanket in each bedroom. We found the king-sized bed to be very comfortable.•As per the listing, there are smoke detectors & first aid kit.•We had no issues with Wi-Fi speed while streaming or using multiple devices simultaneously.•Host communication was excellent. Sabine was very quick to reply to any questions & provided helpful information about the area. We appreciated the personal check-in on arrival as well.Cons:•We have no cons.Would we stay here again? Absolutely yes.

Although the property overall was as pictured, it was not nearly as bright as pictured. There really is no direct sunlight so the interior is quite shaded. The rooms were very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked, but a few of the pans were quite dirty and needed to be scoured before usable. The location was very good for walking around to see the sites, and the host was quite accommodating in terms of an early arrival and answering questions.

Sabine and Martin are great hosts! This apartment is in a wonderful location in Leiden close to public transport, grocery stores and city centre. We had a great time!
