Perfect location - just by the beach. Sea view out of the balcony. Room was big and balcony was really big. Car parking just by entrance. Hotel has nice style of interior and good vibe. Cosy restaurant downstairs where you can get breakfast (not included in room price) and dinner.
Very friendly and helpful staff, I received many good advises from them.
If I come to Vama Veche again, I certainly stay here again.
Missing hooks for towels in bathroom.

Close to the beach
Close to everything really
Amazing sea view from the balcony, even from the bed
Clean (it can be improved) and nice rooms, with solid wood and iron design, also in good taste, not like other basic hotels or villas, it has character
The AC is really good and powerful, really helped with my sunburns
The host is a cool and helpful dude
No TV is a plus, but I was missing a small table or something
Noisy when people bring their baby, even though children are not allowed, but what can you do, it's still Romania
The private beach is not so private and the hotel price doesn't include the private beach anymore, it's 30lei per day, per person, not such a big deal, but still
It's really noisy at night from the clubs, until about 4am
Their ground floor restaurant is expensive, the 10% discount goes to the tips anyway and there are A LOT of bugs and flies "I would like a small spoon with my wine, please"
Some hotel clients are really noisy and some are...well, not fit for Vama Veche, if you know what I mean
It's really annoying to always remember to put the card in the slot for electrical power, but I guess people left the AC on, I've seen this in other hotels
You cannot use the small but noisy refrigerator, as it contains the pay per bottle minibar
Hard mattress and really soft and skinny pillows
The restaurant employees are kind but always looking at you funny, like they are pricing you
Overall a "fancy place" for "fancy people", I was looking forward to go home where it's quiet and get some sleep and rest, not a good thing when you go on vacation, maybe I'm not the target customer though
Oh, and it's been said in other comments here, the water coming from the shower goes all over the bathroom floor
