It was a perfect skiing getaway. About the location. The property is located less than half a mile from the lifts, with plenty of stores to rent equipments just in front of it. It was easy to just walk, pick up the equipment (leaving the shoes at the rental facility) and return it at the end of the day. Several small markets and restaurants close by. About the apartment: The apartment is very cozy, having all that is needed for a 6 day stay. Stove, toaster, kettle and microwave working perfectly. Nice shower, beds and linen. Smart TV for relaxing afterwards. About Jimena: very helpful and accomodating. Everything was done easily. On my last day, she let me stay in the apartment until 1PM without charging extra (sorry to broadcast that). It was a perfect last half day of skiing before returning home.
Overall, nothing displeased me. One small word of advice though. Villa Catedral is perfect for someone that intends to just ski the whole day and then rest for the next one (my intention). If the purpose is not that, and you are interested on nightlife or other daytime entertainment, it would be better to stay in downtown Bariloche. The ski resort is located far from the city (18 km) and the road is narrow and frequently covered in snow, making it necessary to put on and take of chains on the wheels.
