Lovely couple who made you feel at home despite language barrier. Room was basic but comfortable.

The accommodation, the hosts and the surroundings are wonderful! It was a real pleasure to stay in this real and authentic shepherd's village in the mountains with such nice people. We had a delicious, traditional breakfast (uštipci, if I'm not mistaken). At our request, we had the most excellent Bosnian pita with cheese and spinach cooked on a fire for dinner. The room and beds are comfortable, everything is clean. You can buy herbal teas collected in the mountains from the hosts, I recommend it. You can buy knitting and other handicrafts in the village. I recommend that you reserve some euros or marks in cash for this. When the sheep go to the mountains to graze or return from them in the evening, give way to them and enjoy the moment! :) We want to go there again, stay for several days and nights.
Yes, the last 11 kilometers of the road are a challenge in some places. It is a real gravel road in the mountains, as nature allows it to be. Don't think of it as a "bad road", but as an adventure to get to your destination. Plan for it much longer than the usual 11 kilometers on the road, you can stop every now and then to enjoy the surroundings and the views. The destination of the trip will be worth it. Yes, if you have a higher car, it will be a good advantage, but if you drive carefully and thoughtfully, you can also drive with a lower car. Before arriving in Lukomir, we received a recommendation from the host to take the road through Kramari and Brda, so we did.

Wonderful experience. The twin room had all we needed. Fatima took very good care of us. Beautifuo village with amazing views, hikes and several restaurants.
