My boyfriend and I booked this trip and he actually proposed during our trip! We loved coming back to the cozy studio cottage. The view from bed is beautiful , the stars at night were breath taking! Easy to check in, place was clean the one minor thing was the couch bed is not the best for the back but is cozy and soft. We will be back !

From the description online we expected a cool & cozy place both indoor and outdoor.
While the potential is surely there, and to be fair the place inside is very clean, it is very simple and basic.
Secondly, while in the photos you see a sofa and you see a bed, in reality the sofa is your bed, and it is totally not practical to undo the bed and close the sofa in the morning as there is nowhere to put the linen, so in reality the only place to sit is on the high chairs in the kitchen area.
Some of the outdoor furniture is very unwelcoming (to say the least) and the “garden” has not seen a gardner for far too long.
As we arrived very late we left first thing in the morning although we booked and payed for 3 nights.
We expected a more accurate description from VRBO!

This beautiful little cottage was everything as advertised! It is a wonderful location and within an hour of most anything you would want to see. Harpswell is a wonderful community and Amy and Dan are great owners. Would seek this booking for a return trip.

This is a quaint cottage with nice views of the water in one of Maine’s finger islands. Great area for hiking. The owners have been great with their recommendations and communications.

Spectacular view! Good location near many great places to eat. Excellent amenities and the space is large enough for two and a dog.
The only negative was the pull out sleeper couch was a little too soft and sank in the middle. A board underneath the mattress may solve the problem.
The grill was great for grilling lobsters - the best way to eat them!
We would definitely come back!

My husband and I really enjoyed the peaceful, out of they way location. The view eating from the porch was beautiful. We both were remote working, and the internet was fantastic, no issues. While the space is very small, as advertised, it was very clean and up to date, especially the bathroom and shower. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend for a couple looking for a quiet getaway.

What a sweet little place with everything you could need for a cozy getaway. Nice kitchen; good shower and hot water; great deck and an outstanding view. My only disappointment was the bed. It was too soft for me. This was mentioned in the comments, and the hosts clearly have tried to make things better by adding two foam toppers. The other point was it was kind of a downer not to be able to easily turn the bed back into a sofa. Other than that, it was a lovely stay!

The views are incredible lobster boats going out every day the neighborhood is very nice it’s close to a nice shopping area and we went to a great farmers market.Beaches nearby and plenty of restaurants to choose from.Dog friendly we bought our pug Sadie lots of friendly dogs walking around.The house was cozy had everything you could need and if you needed anything Amy the very nice owner was more than happy to get it for you.Amy was so nice and had lots of helpful information she’s also a great IT person 😊We plan on returning again soon.

This property is exactly like the pictures. Perfect location to travel up and down the coast of Maine. I felt like I was in a tree house above the water. We woke to the sound and sites of the lobster boats going out in the morning. Could not have asked for better hosts!!! it is very private in a quiet neighborhood. Our big dog felt right at home also😂 seriously we drove to Penaquit Point Lighthouse one day. Bangor and through Acadia one day. Up to Lubec one day although that was a long day. Close to Bailey Island and Orr Island and the hosts gave us a list of beaches that were dog friendly. I love Maine have been four times will come back here.

Communication with owner was superb. Check-in and check-out procedures were simple. Excellent view of the sound. Neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Owner loves dog and makes your stay welcoming. Highly recommend.

The cottage was perfect all around. The morning sunrise seals the deal. A cozy place to stay with your partner. Communication the host was also very good. Definitely would recommend this stay even if you have a long drive to get here

Bathroom is clean and they kitchen is stocked with supplies you’ll need for coffee and basic cooking. The only constructive criticism I have is that a new bed / sleeping arrangement should be considered by the owners. The pull out sofa sags in the middle and is quite uncomfortable and difficult to sleep if you and your partner aren’t cuddled up real close. A new bed or updated pull out sofa would make this a 5 star stay across the board. Regardless, we can’t wait to book again and come back. An excrement weekend I’ll remember forever.

During the day, we enjoyed local hiking and viewing the beautiful sea coast. The house was perfect for us to enjoy our stay in Harpswell. We highly recommend and love to return some day and

Only stayed two nights because I needed peace and quiet before embarking on a cruise. Brought my dog with me. My only regret is that I did not stay longer. Amy is a wonderful host. The cottage is perfect. Absolutely perfect. I will be back! And, this time, I'll stay longer.

Stayed at this property in Harpswell for 4 nights. Hostess Amy was very attentive and helpful. Property was small but had everything we needed with a gorgeous view of the water! Plenty of things to do in nearby Brunswick and easy access to other nearby attractions. Would gladly stay there again.

This was our first VRBO. We will be back. What a beautiful retreat. All instructions regarding check in were very clear and precise. The space is perfect for 2 adults to enjoy much needed alone time. We used the firepit upon arrival. Enjoyed the sunset and all the birds that surrounded us. The bed is a super comfy pull out sofa. The topper is in the closet. Really easy to put together. We opened the windows with ease and enjoyed the fall air. Parking was super easy. We were visiting the area for a wedding. We were very happy we decided to go off the beaten path. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing and recharging getaway!

The access to this property was difficult, pathway to front door uneven and awkward. The deck and firepit area in the patio were in disrepair. The door was open and there was nobody on the premises. The baseboards in the bathroom were rusted, but the worse problem was that the windows did not open. (even with the wrench left for the task). The host contacted by phone and said "too bad. the windows won't be fixed until next week". Since the locked windows represented a fire hazzard, we were unable to stay. VRBO notified of the issues at the time. They could offer no solution and we informed them that were were not staying and left inmediately.

This is a beautiful, updated cabin for 2 ! Bayfront but no water access. It's close to several good restaurants but a quiet place to relax . We had a wonderful stay.
