The cottage had been furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Everything I needed was provided, and lots of things that I didn't need but others might eg lots of other kitchen equipment for more adventurous cooking than I did, information booklets, garden furniture. The floors are tiled rather than carpeted, and so easy to keep clean. Really good quality bed linen. It's probably the best furnished and equipped self-catering property that I've stayed in. The host was most welcoming and helpful with information eg the best place to walk my dogs (there was no extra charge for them).

Lovely location, perfect for visiting family in the area. Enclosed garden for our dog & very dog friendly throughout. Loved the local art, corner shop & info about local produce. Kitchen is very well equipped, and with lovely china. Excellent WiFi & smart tv.
The property could do with a bit of TLC in areas and the garden was not as secure as I would have liked, the gates require attention.

I've now stayed here several times and always find it clean, nice little extras and peaceful.
