About this cabin rental
Enjoy a woodland atmosphere in our original historical log cabin. Newly renovated and directly in town. One bedroom with queen size bed, new queen sofa bed in large living room area with enough space for 2 single beds with flexible arrangements. Refurbished gas fireplace,1 window ACs plus 1 portable window AC. Kitchen is fully equipped with essentials for preparing simple meals, new electric range and full size fridge. All bedding and towels are provided. Parking is available directly in front of the property. Children and pets are welcome. Pack and Play for small children is available (bring your own bedding).
Sport and recreation nearby at Pine Lake and the Iowa River Greenbelt. Shopping is limited but grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, breakfast cafe, and cinema are located in town on the main street as well as a Casey's that is open 24/7. Larger cities reachable within an hour include Ames, Waterloo/Cedar Falls, Grundy Center, and scenic Iowa Falls.

Very nice stay, lovely owner was so helpful...but I do want to mention....as a senior, only 5' tall...some cabinets were to high to reach, but luckily I did not need them. Also there are a few step ups to a couple rooms...but again...they did not bother me...My stay was nice & enjoyable, and I was able to accomplish my itinerary in those few days.
