The apartment is amazing - on the 3rd floor of an old building in the tiny streets of the historic centre. No lift but interesting building. Huge living area with fantastic high ceilings and big windows opening out onto the street. Very central location near cafes and bars. Don't take a car, the maze of streets is almost impossible and there is no parking other than an expensive underground public car park in a local square. Easy to access the rest of central Cadiz from here.
Getting access was awful. All the booking details from Booking.com are lost when you are handed off to another system which demands a truly stupid amount of information from you and requires you to make another payment on a different, unknown platform. No access codes arrived and I chased up to be met with automated nonsense sending me back to the start of the booking process. Eventually someone woke up and provided the codes after we were left in the afternoon heat for an hour outside the door. Really awful admin which is so unnecessary and detracts from an otherwise great stay.
