Retour à l' époque de ma grand-mère. J'ai adoré. Il y a le confort moderne mais cette ambiance.

Une jolie petite maison à la campagne au calme où vous trouverez à l intérieur tout et même plus pour passer un excellent séjour ,la maison est très bien équipée et quel plaisir de retrouver les meubles et la vaisselle à l identique de la maison de mes parents, un retour en enfance. La maison dispose d un petit jardin où vous pourrez prendre vos repas .Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse tout au long du séjour. La maison se trouve à quelques kilomètres du lac de Miel où vous pourrez vous baigner et vous restaurer et ne manquez pas la visite de l abbaye d Aubazine où vécu Coco Chanel,un moment d histoire très bien commenté.

A proximité de pas mal de lieux d'intérêt entre 10min et 30min ( baignade, village classé, château, église, activités sportives...)

We chose this place because it would accept a dog. The owner lady was very accommodating about the dog (he is very large and hairy).
Finding this place was a nightmare. This is early December and the evening was cold, raining and at 5pm it was dark. The village was up in the hills with very little lighting. We had advised the owners of our arrival time, but once in the village it was obvious we needed guiding to the house as there were no clues and no signage, so we called the telephone number given to us 3 times and 3 times left a message which was never responded to. We had to knock at 4 houses before we found someone to lead us to the guesthouse. The owner's wife was actually next door in a separate house, fortunately our guide told us this before he left otherwise we would never have known. Anyway, the house was really cold with no heat on at all. The lady went around switching heaters on but we stayed in wet outer clothes until it warmed up a bit. We left soon afterwards as, after almost an hour of searching around the village, we were now late for dinner in the town. On our return we found the house to be in darkness and with no power, and now cold again as the heaters had been off for a while. We didn't know where the candles were, or matches We got the lady back, she showed us where the electric breakers were and we spent the rest of the evening juggling with breakers as they became overloaded with most of the heaters switched on. We finally figured what heaters we could leave on and had an early night. This is most obviously a place that should never be used in the winter months if the heaters could not cope and it was unfair to sell it as a holiday let for a one night stay when there was no time to get used to it and make it comfortable. I would think a family with small children would like the mountain setting in the summer. There was an upstairs lounge with sofa and TV but unusable because it was freezing cold up there.
