We had a wonderful stay at Villa Castello in Capri. The villa is very cozy, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful greenery, which creates such a lovely atmosphere.
The staff were excellent, especially the gentleman who took care of the property. He was always available, very attentive and kept everything perfectly clean. Housekeeping was provided every day, with fresh towels and bed linen changed regularly — something we really appreciated and don’t always find when staying in villas in Europe, especially in Capri.
Everything was very well looked after, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would be very happy to come back. Highly recommended! ❤️
Another big advantage of the villa is having both a kitchen and a washing machine, which makes a longer stay much more comfortable.
Capri has the most amazing fresh tomatoes, fragrant basil and wonderful local cheeses. There is something so special about bringing these simple, fresh ingredients back to the villa, preparing your own Caprese salad, and enjoying it outside in the beautiful garden surrounded by greenery — with a glass of wine or a lovely cup of tea. It was one of those simple little pleasures that made our stay feel especially cozy and authentic. ❤️
The location of the villa is another wonderful advantage. There is a fantastic pizzeria very close by, as well as a lovely restaurant just up the hill where you can sit with a glass of wine, enjoy beautiful music and simply soak up the atmosphere of Capri.
There are also small local shops nearby where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables. The central Piazzetta is just a short walk away, as is the beautiful Church of Santo Stefano, which is definitely worth visiting.
At night, you may occasionally hear the church bells. They are not disturbing at all — just an occasional chime in the distance.
One thing worth mentioning is that, like many properties in Capri, the villa is not a newly built or modern property. Capri has its own unique charm, and many of the buildings on the island are older and full of character. That being said, everything was clean and well maintained, and there were no unpleasant smells or anything that made us feel uncomfortable.
It is also important to know in advance that this is not a sea-view villa, so you should not expect panoramic views of the sea or the coastline. For us, this was not a problem, but I think it is helpful for future guests to be aware of it when booking.
Overall, we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

I loved this Apt and lovation. Asela and his wife Odea were excellent housekeepers and attendents. I felt very taken care of. I will return for sure

Absolutely incredible location a short walk from the Piazzetta. Spacious duplex apartment. Enormous private terrace with an impossibly good view of Vesuvius, the Bay of Naples and the Marina Grande.
Not complaints, but just for info for future travellers: the shower is very basic; the apartment is above the bus stops, so expect the sound of reversing beepers; terrace is amazing but maybe add a couple of sun loungers; getting your cases to the apartment from the port is a bit of an adventure. But these are all minor for me - it was a great choice overall.
