Very good

The apartment was well equipped. The location is excellent. Right next to the shop, pub, pharmacy and leisure centre. The beauty therapist offers fantastic massages. Filey beach is stunning. Very clean and virtually empty. Filey Town is quaint, and the Brigg offers great rock pooling.

The apartment needs some TLC. The on-site shop could offer more in the way of fresh produce.

Didn’t feel able to relax in the apartment.

Have always enjoyed staying at this holiday park which I have visited many times but in different apartments.

On this occasion was disappointed with the apartment. The sofas were badly worn damaged and dirty. The bath and shower fittings were hanging off the wall and there was no adjustment on the shower controls. Numerous kitchen cupboard doors were loose and hanging off. Finally, no note to warn me the fridge/freezer was not working in the kitchen.

The Bay Holiday Park is great. Beds were OK.

WISH WE HADN'T BOOKED Frustrated after lots of confusion as to whether we were booked into number 50 or 56 and two different pass codes (9064 & 1956). I had booked a ground floor apartment due to disability and my booking on booking.com confirms this. We could not get a phone signal on the park (2 phones) so went to main reception who kindly helped us. To find out the booking had been changed due to the fact number 50 has been sold is not only annoying but now makes our holiday difficult due to the stairs. Surely you have a duty to notify if changes are made to a booking. I would have refused this apartment due to my disability with the stairs. My husband who has a stoma and hernia has struggled with luggage up the stairs. I would not book again. Blinds broken Blind cords are not safety cords, risk of children strangulation, blinds too long for windows Main fridge broken, second fridge in dining g room Cupboard doors in kitchen broken Front door rattles, loose fitting Booked ground floor was not notified would be upstairs. Cushion in.lounge feel chatty Sofas saggy Rug in lounge looks gross Smoke alarm hanging off the ceiling

Booked because it said wheelchair accessible but was false advertisement so that really needs to be changed. Also a few bits in the apartment need to be fixed.

we had a fabulous stay at The Bay in this comfortable apartment. Fantastic location. One thing to mention is that on the

spacious apartment, great location.

en-suite shower temperature control seemed to stay the same (warm), whichever direction it turned.

Okay for price

The price was reasonable. although I had originally booked for 3 nights but received a message from the owner that they could not give me 3 nights, so only stayed for 2 which wasn't long enough really

Apartment needs updating. The couches in particular are virtually unusable they are so saggy, couldn't sit comfortably. Just needs a general updating all round.

Great apartment, great to have en suite in main bedroom. Good location near to Pub, Pool and Shop, Access to the beach etc.

Just needed a few minor things sorting and fixing.The main Door rattled, few cupboards in kitchen were loose.

Pleasant

Not ground floor as described. Bedroom shower either cold or lukewarm. Right hand bedside light could not be used, cable too short. Sofas uncomfortable, no wi fi . Glasses in kitchen were a mismatch,apart from that we enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant. Up to expectations

Struggled to find the property. Until we found a person with a map. Neither shower was any good. One was too hot, the other only dribbled cold water. Also the knobs were dropping off No Wi-Fi

location is close to pub & leisure facilities if you are able to use the pool etc.

I’ve stayed at the bay twice before & would definitely recommend booking through away resorts. this time the property was not as clean, blinds damaged, walls chipped in places. had to reset boiler (no instructions) in order to get hot water. bathroom has a foisty smell. there is no internet (first time I’ve had this at the bay) and we had no passes so unable to use leisure facilities. they were supposed to be in a red walled but there wasn’t one. staff won’t help as it was a private booking. dvds were scratched etc so overall disappointing stay compared to my previous stays

Everything about the apartment was perfect,Firstly as soon as we booked the clear and friendly communication from the owners,The price was cheaper than a lot at the bay,but the apartment is well thought out,Clean and everything you need is there,One of the closet apartments to the shops and Pub and close to the beach.Had a wonderful stay,perfect just perfect.Thankyou.

Perfect location close to beach and facilities, apartment very clean and looked after.

The bunk bed is missing a rung making it a little difficult to get onto the top bunk for smaller ones.

Apartment could have been better..location saved the day!

good location!

Apartment looks very tired, needs lots of TLC! ! Overall standard of cleanliness in apartment not great, lots of dust and cobwebs, sofas very uncomfortable and had to wipe down dirty sticky marks when arrived. DVD player wouldn’t play DVDs, all Venetian blinds need replacing as damaged and bent, main bedroom bed reasonably comfortable but en-suite shower unusable as shower head would not stay in position and control fell off in hand when turning shower on! 2nd bedroom bunk beds had rungs missing from stairs and sharp edges where the welding points were that were in reach of the bottom bunk where my 3yr old grandson slept (not great for inquisitive fingers) top bunk mattress very damaged at the edge and all inside of mattress could be seen including springs! Needs replacing as a matter of urgency (We didn’t use but for other guests)! Main bathroom shower screen has an inch gap where the rubber seal is missing so wets all the floor when using..obviously a long standing problem as the whole laminate floor is water damaged. Laminate throughout is damaged and needs replacing.

Passable!

Facilities on site very good. We enjoyed them on a daily basis. Pool was spotlless and well supervised. Staff friendly. We ate in the pub a couple of times and the food was very good. The property was in a prime position for easy access to all the facilities.

The cost of soft drinks at the pub was unreasonably high. The lack of wi-fi was not acceptable in this day and age. The only connection at the pub was unsecured! The apartment itself was lovely and comfortable but: Top rung of bunk bed was snapped off and sharp metal exposed at either side. Rendering the top bunk unusable. Apart from it being dangerous from a Health and safety point of view. My grandson could have gashed his legs if he hadn’t seen it first. The window blinds were very thin and mis-shaped, would be better without any blinds. Both showers when in use wet the floor. Ill fitting door in bathroom and curtain in en-suite. Great to have a washing machine unfortunately nowhere to dry the clothes! Fridge motor sounds like a motor boat. Apartment could be made lovely with a little time and money spent.

Tlc required.

Locatiin was what we wanted

NO. swimming passes left for us. Oven was dangerous as shelving was not secure snd dropped down spillling out our dinner out splashing hot foid on the floor. In need of TLC blinds was all.bent and damaged. No draining board. We had to make 3 calls to find out where the kets were.

Very spacious apartment. Places to walk the dog immediately outside the front door. Quiet and pleasant environment within 5 minutes drive of Filey centre. Apartment had easy access to the excellent beach for exercise

A minor problem which didn't really inconvenience us., On arrival the front door handle was loose but still worked ok. On the second day the key wouldn't lock the door. The owner said she would come and sort it out asap. She seemed very concerned and responsive. Because it was a business trip we had to leave early, so did not actually meet her.

Fantastic accommodation. Excellent communication from the host. Easy check in, conveniently situated and lovely well equipped house. We had a fantastic time with husband and our 4 years Old little Men. There is a lovely dog friendly pub on site along with a small shop, pharmacy, coffee shop, swimming pool, gym and other activities. We had a lovely walk along the beach into Filey town centre. We will definitely be booking again and can't wait to revisit.
