⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Place That Truly Feels Like Home
I have visited many countries and stayed in many different places, but I have never felt as comfortable and relaxed as I did at Amber House Lanka. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like staying at a friend's home.
The owner, Mr. Nuwan, is one of the kindest and most humble people I have ever met. He is clearly very successful, but despite that, he is incredibly down-to-earth, generous, and warm-hearted. His family is also extremely loving and welcoming.
❤️ What I Loved:
They treat guests like family, not customers.
My small kids kept saying that they had never felt this comfortable anywhere else.
Mr. Nuwan's heart is truly like an ocean. His generosity and kindness are difficult to put into words.
During our departure, I was short of money, and even before I could properly ask, he offered to help and told me to take whatever amount I needed. That level of kindness is something I will never forget.
They serve incredibly tasty and delicious food at very reasonable prices.
The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable.
The swimming pool is also very clean and well maintained.
The entire property has such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
What makes this place special isn't just the rooms, food, or swimming pool, it's the people. The warmth and hospitality of Mr. Nuwan and his family made us feel genuinely cared for.
I honestly don't know how to express how grateful I am for the way they treated us. I will truly miss Mr. Nuwan, his family, and Amber House Lanka.
If you are looking for a place where you can relax, feel comfortable, and be treated like family, this is the place.

Our family had a fantastic experience at Amber House Lanka. Traveling as tourists with my family and kids,we found it to be an excellent choice for families.
The accommodation was clean and well-equipped, with the added bonus of being able to cook on-site, which was really convenient. The owners were incredibly friendly and treated us like family, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The location is ideal, the view is amazing!you can view the river from the comfort of your bed.The beach can be accessed by boat provided by the lake house and its just across the river, few metres away from the lake house. From the location, you can explore the areas around;the beach, mangroves, see sea turtles,water sports activities, etc and enjoy the natural beauty around the place.
In terms of value for money, it was definitely worth it! The included breakfast and the fact that kids stay free made our stay even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend Amber House Lanka to families and even individuals seeking a memorable and delightful getaway.

Breakfast was delicious although the spread was limited. But that’s not a concern as the portion sizes were good enough for a meal.
Not enough parking space inside the property.

Location and view
Too many ants which spoiled ny food. Mosquito repllents installed were empty. Water leakage in washroom. Jackuzi without any hot water. Cake served in breakfast full of dead ants
