A lovely characterful and comfortable Cottage. Very clean and well equipped. It was very quiet at night. Very conveniently situated to attend The Roc triathlon
The first evening there had been a burst water pipe in the village, the water pressure was low and so the shower wasn’t working. Fortunately, this was resolved by the next day and we were able to enjoy a fantastic Power shower

Nice location by the river. Well placed for holker hall and exploring the south coast of Cumbria. Appreciated the washing machine and kitchen. Good bath and shower.
Some of the pans needed cleaning. The bed was ok but could be better.

We had a refreshing stay at this charming, quaint and cozy cottage. The facilities are well thought out and of a good standard. There is a well stocked shop nearby with beautiful walks accessible from the doorstep. We look forward to returning again.
