EVERYTHING!!! Our stay was beyond our expectations. First of all, the location was amazing, we were in the middle of the largest shopping/eating mecca in Sorento! There were also museums, and other cultural places to visit nearby. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. My friend and I had separate beds and we slept very comfortably. They even came in mid-week to tidy up and replace our linens and towels. We even had a safe to keep our passports/money/jewelry. The kitchen area came supplied with everything we needed. stove top, tea kettle, fridge, pots/pans, silver ware cups, glasses, etc. The bathroom was a nice size with a shower and bidet! The floor tiles were beautiful and bright and...we had not 1 but 2 Balconies!!!! We had a nice sized living room/kitchen table to hang out in and go through all the goodies that we bought! Our room also came complete with a washer machine and a place to hang our wet clothes. So needless to say it was a pleasure coming home and not having to do laundry!!!! I was also able to reach my "hosts" any time I had a question. They were very nice and I would highly recommend Ambra to anyone looking to stay in the Sorrento Area. Sherri - USA (New York)
I loved everything!

The size (very roomy for the 3 of us - we had a separate bedroom); use of a washing machine in the room; lift for our luggage!; very clean; kitchen; excellent communication leading up to our booking, and we were met on our arrival and shown to our room; great location and very close to the train station.
Towels could have been changed more regularly as they were quite thin.

The location was amazing. It was within walking distance of everything we needed, with lots of great restaurants, shops and other amenities nearby. The beach was also not too far away, which was really convenient. The location was definitely the highlight of our stay.
Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues with comfort during our stay. The bed was uncomfortable and the property was extremely noisy, both from outside and within the building. We struggled to sleep properly every night.
The shower was also very poor. The water pressure was terrible and the temperature would constantly fluctuate. Around two minutes into a shower, the water could suddenly become ice cold and then switch to boiling hot, making it very difficult to have a comfortable shower.
We also had an issue with the towels. I contacted the host to request additional towels, as I needed extra towels during my stay. It took quite a while to receive a response, and I was told the owner would be there the following morning. The towels were eventually replaced, but it took a full day.
As I needed clean towels, I washed the towels we had available in the washing machine as I was trying to do the right thing while waiting for additional towels. I was then contacted and asked not to wash the towels in the washing machine, as they apparently need to be washed at a laundry. This was frustrating, particularly as I had already contacted the host to request more towels and was waiting for a response.
