The location is AMAZING and why we chose this property. Plus there is a roof terrace which overlooks the rooftops of Florence which was the other reason we chose it. The staff could not have been more gorgeous and helpful and Ugo brought our terribly heavy case up the stairs for us which was so generous of him as it was way too heavy! Gabriela sent me wonderful links to great coeiliac friendly places to eat which was so helpful of her. They went out of their way to help us with anything we needed.
There are 3 flights of stairs! I would not normally mind but I wasn't well and having to climb so many stairs was hard. But when you are staying so centrally in Florence in an old building with character, you're going to have loads of stairs! There was a smell while we were there which meant we couldn't have the windows open which was not great as I was unwell and really wanted fresh air. The apartment is tiny and they have kitted it out really cleverly, but the bathroom is super tiny - anyone larger than a size 12 would struggle.

The location is perfect!
The bed is horrible. It needs to be replaced. My husband and I finished with bad back pain.

Proximity to sites was fantastic, bed was really comfortable and we enjoyed the roof top terrace every day. There were wine glasses, cork screŵ, knife and fridge.
The room is very small, the safe was a key lock and not secured in place.. the neighbor was noisy on the weekend.

Soft beds, the only god thing with the appartment!
Many steps up to the third floor. There was hardly any room for two large suitcases, yet an excessive number of small tables cluttered with coffee cups and coffee makers. It seems the owners have never actually stayed in the small apartment themselves. There were mold stains in the bathroom and outdated decor that made me regret my booking the moment I arrived. My contact person messaged me saying I hadn't paid the accommodation tax on the first day, which felt like an accusation. She claimed she had to pay the tax to the municipality that same day—which isn't true, as a quick AI check revealed they have a full month to do so—and she hadn't mentioned this at any point in our previous communication. It took a full hour to sort the matter out, and she eventually agreed to let me pay at checkout.

"The warm welcome, the location is great especially with unpredictable weather which we experienced. The market opposite (upstairs) was a bonus. The roof terrace has a view of the dome"
