Staff members replied quickly and efficiently, the location is convenient (a 10-15 min walk to the downtown area or the coach station), WiFi worked well, there’s a supermarket facing it, you get access to a kitchen and the common areas were clean. It was also the only hostel I found that had female dorms available when I booked. It’s OK for a few nights if you don’t intend to spend much time in your room.
There was a constant damp smell in the room that didn’t go out even after opening the windows for hours. The space between the bottom and top bunker beds is so narrow you can’t sit on your bed at all, even if you’re not tall. It’s narrower than a capsule hotel, you basically can only lie down flat on it, but not raise your head or anything. It limits your movements a lot and makes it very uncomfortable, even though the mattress and pillow were alright. I had to go to the common areas or the balcony each time I wanted to work on my laptop, because it’s not convenient to work while lying down completely flat on your back. The lockers were good and big enough for a cabin luggage bag, but a lot of girls had huge backpacks that didn’t fit in, so the room got very crowded. This place would be better if they changed the bunker beds and added big lockers in the common areas.
