Me and my 6 year old daughter had a lovely stay here as a single-parent family. The bedsit is attatched to the side of the owners house but was still private & pleasant. It was clean and had everything we needed, including utensils and other essentials. The bed was really comfortable, and the shower was wonderfully powerful!
The location was great too ... a nice walk through the woods takes you down to the beach and Carbis Bay train station. It is a little steep walking back up, but not too far. There’s also a Tesco about 5–10 minutes away up on the main road and a nice pub serving tasty food further along the road.
Also recommend Firehouse Bar & Grill , Beef & reef restaurant in St ives centre, which is only 3/4mins train ride away. Activities we did that we enjoyed and would recommend is the Blue Rib ride speed boat from the harbour ,to see the seals-was really fun & also enjoyed a nice dip in the Geo-thermal pool in penzance ,a fairly short train ride away.
The hosts were really pleasant and welcoming, giving us our space while also letting us know they were available if we needed anything. We really enjoyed our stay! Thankyou again!
The steep walk up to the property from the beach but that is typical anyway for the area as a whole.

Lovely apartment, very clean, was such a lovely surprise to have tea, coffee, sugar and milk on arrival not forgetting the biscuits too. The bed was so comfortable and slept like a baby. Has everything you could possibly need. Shower was very powerful and perfect after a long day on the beach. Hosts were so lovely and welcoming we will definitely be returning guests for sure.

Good position for beach
Advertised as self catering accommodation but did not have a proper kitchen. No proper
cooking cooker and very basic kitchen amenities.
