We really enjoyed our stay here — perfect location, exceptionally clean and comfortable, beautiful mountain views, a wonderful breakfast and genuinely lovely staff.
No access to tea, coffee or coca tea in the room, which we really missed after finding coca tea available at most of our other hotels

Location just a couple minutes away from the station.
Basic but spacious room.
Friendly staff.
Breakfast box for early check out and possibility to leave the luggage at the hotel while you go to Machu Picchu.
Room is basic, limited possibilities to, for example, hung or store stuff.
Walls are pretty thin.

Very close to train station and multiple food options. Also close to bus depot to Machu Pichu. The free breakfast is excelent: includes fruit, cereal, eggs and a great coffee.
The stairs are a little noise mainly because there is many people arriving from or leaving for their excursions. Nothing really bad for a hotel in a town like this that thrives on tourisim

Located a short walk from the rail station, I had a large comfortable room.
Pictures are a little deceiving, my room had no external view, the room window looked onto the central atrium of the hotel.
On arrival I was initially advised that my room wasn’t available due to a ‘plumbing issue’. I was ushered to an alternative hotel a short walk away, the other hotel seemed outwardly inferior. It was soon discovered that the reception agent had confused my booking with someone else’s one night booking, my booking was for 2 nights.
It seemed like this hotel could be deliberately switching one night bookings to an inferior hotel.
The mistake was rectified and I was given a room at the original hotel booking location.
