About this condo rental
Nestled in Sugar Mountain, this charming condo for $110 per night is a great option for your next trip. 2001 is a 10th (top) floor unit featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom has a Queen sized bed and there is also a sleeper sofa in the living room, accommodating 6 guests. The condo has a living room and a full kitchen, and Sugar Top boasts incredible long range views. Kitchen has pots and pans, dishes and silverware, small appliances. NO coffee is provided, but we are now stocking units with salt and pepper, and cooking oil. The condo has an electric fireplace insert, so you won't have to worry about buying wood or not being able to use it when there's high wind. The ground floor of the condo building features an indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and fitness room. Sugar Top condos do not have air conditioning. The units only have a 38 gallon water heater, due to space limitations. This only permits a 3-5 minute shower before the heater needs to recycle and reheat. .

Conformatble property located 10 minutes away form the slopes. Plus: the heated the pool (although it was pretty cold). The property overall was in good condition although needs some TLC. NO hangers, full of artificial plants, old phonebook guides and magazines and outdated furniture. If you do not care much about it, it is a great place to stay for the price.

I have stayed at Sugar Mountain several times but unfortunately this condo is not up to par. The furniture squeaks, and has no padding and you can feel the wood in the arms of the sofas. There are more than 20 flower arrangements on every single shelf every single part of the condo. They were five on top of the TV itself. There are so many knickknacks and decorations that it is impossible to put anything on any shelf. There is even a China cabinet in the tiny dining room with more dried flowers. Who needs a China cabinet on vacation? I was very disappointed as most of the things in this condo. It looked like they were picked up at yard sales. For instance, a picture in the bathroom had been glued back together, and the dried glue was oozing out of the corners of the frame. As always, the cleaning stuff were amazing the condo was very clean other than all of the knickknacks and decorations everywhere which made it impossible to set any of our belongings down anywhere. I’m sure it was a nightmare for them to clean as well. I would not recommend this unit even though it is on the 10th floor and has a fabulous view.

This was one of the more updated units in the building and it was comfortable to stay in. Unfortunately, there were a number of things that popped up that led us to believe it wasn't cleaned regularly. There was mold growing in the soap dispenser in the master, the counter and a number of glasses were sticky, the master shower drain appear to be partially clogged since it does not drain well.

A weekend stay planned for three. we were there to review the facility as we consider a purchase there. My wife and I and daughter. My daughter has a severe allergy to cigarette smoke. It is a no smoking unit but the smell of cigarette smoke was obvious when we opened the door. We tried but my daughters eyes were swelling in under an hour. My wife and daughter left and went to a hotel, I spent the night to meet the realtor the next morning. A sleepless night on less than perfect mattress and a strong odor from the pillows and bedcover. I left the next morning and would not go back.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we're pleased with our condo rental. The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen and very comfy furniture throughout. The view from our patio was amazing! It was also very convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. The only downsides were that they were doing construction while we were there and it made unloading and loading our luggage very difficult and time consuming. This was not really fully addressed before we went so it wasn't a pleasant surprise. This would be something for elderly to consider while construction is still going on because it would be impossible for them to load their luggage by themselves with how far you have to walk. The only other downside is that there was a lot of artificial flowers throughout the condo and they had a lot of dust on them. This really bothered our allergies. I know those things gather dust easily and may not be the best choice for a rental.

Short vacation
We had been at Sugar Top around 20 years ago and decided to revisit the area. It was a great decision, as we had a very good time We love the condo and the convenience to local area. We probably won’t wait so long to come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay and the condo met all our needs. The power went out one night but the generators kept the elevator and hall lights on until power was restored. This is close to Sugar mtn skiing and the rental shops. We will be back!

I was very unhappy. The one filter l had in place was for a fireplace.Unit wS clean, beds sucked.The fireplace was an electric insert that didn't work. By definition of fireplace has fire not electricity. I felt ripped off, no fie, Don't list it as having a fire place. Fill like l should have gotten a refund just off that.Left a day early, never do that on vacation.

All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Although the unit we had was very nice with a beautiful view, adequately furnished and well supplied kitchen the property itself was older and could use a little sprucing up. What wasn't very convenient was the trash chute was all the way down the other end from our unit and not well marked.

This was a cute little condo on the top floor with the most amazing views. Comfortable place to stay. We had a few issues with some things like the tv not working, but we weren't there to watch tv anyways. It was a nice quiet building and perfect for a family getaway. Checkout procedures were not explained well and there were conflicting instructions between what the building said to do and what the rental company said to do. We did our best LOL. Overall we loved staying here and would book again for sure. I can't say enough how awesome that balcony view was - even at night it was amazing.

Amazing balcony views. Comfortable Condo. Beautiful indoor pool area. We had a few issues with some things. The TV was busted in the living room and some of the outlets were loose or broken. But overall it was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. We would book there again.

Amazing VEIWS, Very Comfortable
The condo was awesome. The views were amazing. The property was nice. Shuttle drivers were great. The only issue was the Sugar Mountain Lodge check in office was not on site. Make sure you read the check in process don't go to the resort without check in otherwise you have to drive down the mountain to check in and then go back up.
