The property is amazing and a very convenient location for the Ardeche caves and gorges visits.
The pool was still in the process of being cleaned/filled up and we would have loved to take a dip if it was functional.

Room....good, comfortable clean. Hotel is characterful and what you would expect from converted 'Couvent'
Breakfast.....more than acceptable. Straightforward fresh pastries, fruit, yoghurt , cereals, eggs etc... and all both coffee filter and bullet machines available. very nice breakfast terrace.
Restaurant. yes very nice and good cooking. The stuffed breast of chicken very good, . good service and friendly, also convenient.
Pool...very nice and excellent friendly staff on pool bar duty.
All in all great for a family....
Very little. I had a corner bath in my bedroom which looked impressive but took a long time to fill and while there was a handheld shower, I would recommend a 'stand under shower'. This is a minor issue.....I had no problem.

It was clean but does not at all deser e a 5* rating. The choice for nreakfast was marvellous but HOW can you serve breakfast the worst way for a 5* hotel? You do not have any tablecloth nor anything on a table, no invitation for a lovely breakfast and on top you get a tray to serve yourself in the patio that is not at all welcoming and eith no charme, no flowers, just nothing that really attracts you to eat there! Very sad and than coming from the outside into a bery dark room, you feel like going into a cave but not into a very welcoming breakfast buffet... just terrible! It looks like they want to have 5* but have never been ine such a place and do not know what feeling it should give the client!
