It's a beautiful hotel, very nice interior design and many facilities like a pool, sauna, jacuzzi and tennis court. Staff is very welcoming and nice. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Surroundings of the hotel are stunning.
We felt like everything at the hotel was slightly chaotic. I sent multiple messages in advance with questions about our stay, to which nobody responded. During our stay, we noticed how the hotel was understaffed and present staff was working long hours and were doing multiple jobs at the same time to make sure that everything at the hotel was done. We also had dinner at the hotel, which was highly priced, around 75 euros. For the quality we got, we found the price very high and also wondered whether you need to present it as a sort of "haute cuisine" dinner. Better to serve more classic dishes with reasonable prices. Prices of the drinks (wine, water, cocktails) were also horrendously high.

A beautiful and historic building that takes you several hundred years back in time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and the views were absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was also very good.
We had a double room with a private bathroom, but it was smaller than expected. There were also a few spiders in the room, which is understandable considering the age and historic character of the hotel.
However, what was not so comfortable was that the toilet had no proper door and was completely open to the room. This made the room feel less private.

It was three unforgettable days at Château de la Chapelle!
A truly atmospheric hotel set in a beautiful historic château, with stunning views, a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi, delicious breakfasts, and an absolutely fantastic chef’s dinner on the terrace.
A huge thank you to the entire team and the owner for the exceptional service! The whole staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and professional - we haven’t experienced such a high level of service in a long time. A special thank you to Lucia for making our stay even more special.
If I had to mention a few things that could be improved, they would only be small details.
A blackout curtain would have been nice, as the morning sunlight came through the window and woke us up a little earlier than planned.
Our room was next to the billiard room, and the beautiful old doors - which I imagine are almost as old as the château itself - did let quite a lot of sound through. Perhaps in the future, they could be replaced with better sound-insulated doors while keeping the beautiful historic style of the château.
A few more clothes hangers (around 4–6) in the wardrobe would also be useful, as well as a small shelving unit or étagère for personal belongings. I think this would be especially appreciated by guests who need a little extra space for their things.
But honestly, the biggest regret is that we stayed for too short a time! Next time, I would definitely book at least three or four days to fully enjoy this beautiful place and explore more of the picturesque surrounding area.

The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was great.
Very much a restaurant first, hotel second. Main focus was trying to host us for dinner and breakfast, although my partner is vegetarian and it only catered for meat eaters. Was not told about any of the facilities, which is why we chose the hotel. We went to inspect ourself, grass was not maintained and the sauna and hot tub were off so unable to use. Wasn’t keen on chancing the pool on how clean it was.
We didn’t eat but we did go to their bar/reception area. Classic cocktails not on offer, just their menu of traditional cocktails with a slight twist and an extra price tag…
Room was not serviced over the two nights we stayed there. Worn towels were provided, one with small holes in.
Major downfall is that you can hear everything in neighbouring guests room. Although the castle walls are thick, the old wooden doors don’t fully close and therefore we could hear guests moving around and talking very clearly.
Also very disappointed to be recommended a taxi who charged us 50€ for a ten minute journey. We were told he was local, but when he asked for the money he said it was because he came from Leige… felt very misled.
