The most positive thing about Estrella del Mar is the location. It is right across from a beautiful beach where the water is shallow and sandy so ideal for families.
Washing machine in the apartment was so convenient.
The AC worked well.
Lovely big terrace where you can sit out at night and look out on the promenade. A sun trap. Also had a clothes airer for drying clothes.
Proper hair dryer was a real convenience. Also had a kettle, toaster and coffee machine.
Good pressure in the shower though it is in the bath.
Bed was comfortable.
The staff at Hotel de Laredo where you collect the key were so helpful and friendly.
Great variety of restaurants within close walking distance.
A large Mercadona supermarket is literally around the corner, two minutes walk.
Apartment was quiet and the fact it was 13 storeys high meant the noise from the street below was barely audible.
The kitchen is tiny so for large group that would be a problem. No oven but did have stove top.
The shower is in the bath which could be an issue for people with mobility problems.
The glass in the doors, including bathroom is quite opaque
Apartment would really only accommodate 4 people max.
The lifts are small but work fine.
You have to collect the key at Hotel de Laredo about a 5/6 mins walk but this wasn't really a big problem and they were so accommodating with us re checkout time as we had to leave apartment at 3am. They let us checkout evening before and we had no problem getting our deposit back.

location is excellent all round view. quiet never disturbed by noise clen and mosdern apartment plenty of toom
need a new kettle in kitchen as it keeps switching itself on and a new buld on terrace light

Laveuse à linge, deux chambres, appartement de coin avec vue.
Cuisine très bien équipée, casseroles, gros réfrigérateur, cuisinière.
Propreté sous les normes acceptables. Divan sale, poussière sous les lits, crasse dans les racoins lavabos, toilette et cuisine. Aucun ménage durant notre séjour, aucun produit nettoyant, aucun condiment essentiel, exemple sel, poivre.
Portes patio à changer. Cintres insuffisants et en mauvais état.
