Gorgeous stone village

This house has real character. Lovely decor of outstanding quality. We found everything that we needed for our stay. The charming village is close to Pont Du Gard and Uzès.

Hidden gem in provence

This place is amazing, - two teraces which give you a great view of the town, and a nice breeze. - newly renovated, the decoration is great, with antique touches that are super. -The kitchen has everything you need, cuttlery, enough pots and pants. Nesspreso cofeemaker also - you also have place to eat outside, and a separate patio with loungechairs,. - I was worried about the town being sleepy, as its so small, but on the contrary, it has a nice restaurant, a super modern bar that has its own wine. It has movement. It is also very well maintained. The house is very near the boulangerie for croissants in the morning. - the beds were very comfortable - the man that takes care of the property s great, he met us at 01 AM!. The next day, he gave us a tour of the town and showed us where best to park. He also showed us how to get hiking to Pont du Gard. The house, as its ancient ,its cool in summer . We were there when it was around 35 degrees, and had no problem whatsoever. This is a great spot from where to discover Provence, I would recommend staying a few nights and taking day trips. We will certainly come back

Perfect Vacation in Southern France

The rental is exactly as it looks in photos. It is an old medieval town nearby Pont du Gard. It is in an old building which has been completely renovated in a modern yet completely fitting Southern French look. White walls, with gorgeous pale sandstone accents. The rental is in an enclosed area with 3 patios at your use. One on each floor. We personally loved the rooftop patio for star gazing. There are 2 bedrooms with the possibility of a pull out couch. The host is Parisain who was very friendly and could also speak English. They have a couple who help out when they aren't there. They were helpful in telling us things to do and where the nearby bakery is (just down the street where they handmade wonderful french baked goods). There is also a few restaurants nearby which we did not get a chance to use. Everything is walkable (which is good because most streets won't fit a modern car in all the southern french towns we visited this trip!!!). Avignon, Nimes, and Pont du Gard are short car rides away, as if a Carrefour (French grocery chain). The rental has a stove. The host was friendly to share with us some useful items for a daytrip to the French beach. He even has play toys for smaller kids, a beach pop up tent, and a beach umbrella for use to borrow. Both husband and wife were extremely friendly. We would 100% recommend this place for friends. If we find ourselves in Southern France we will also make sure to schedule in a few days here again!
