Great location and views, otherwise disappointing

The location was about the only nice thing about our stay.

When we arrived, we walked into what looked like the aftermath of a fight. The front door lock was partially unscrewed from the door, there were holes in a closet door and blood on a wall in the hallway. The unit was remodeled, but it looks like it was furnished from the Dumpster behind Goodwill. There was dirt/stains on the chest at the foot of the bed, two worn down footrests were pushed against the wall (the bottom of one was all torn up). The bed had a sheet and a thin coverlet meant to go over a blanket or comforter, and there was no blanket or comforter. I searched the unit, trying to find one, but there were no spare pillows or blankets, despite there being two other beds for guests to use. We froze that first night, but they did deliver blankets the next day (very thin ones... I had to layer 3 on the bed to stay warm). I washed the blankets and sheets and saw that the mattress was gross and stained when I stripped the bed and it was very uncomfortable. There were 4 pillows in the entire unit (for 1 king and 2 queen size beds) that were thin, worn, and hard. There was a (rusty) coffee maker in the unit, but no coffee filters, so I had to buy a pack of 50 just to be able to make coffee for a few days. The hot tubs were only in the indoor pool area, which was always packed and extremely loud. There were 4 bath towels provided, but none for use at the pool or beach. The floors were so gross that my feet were black from walking around in the unit barefoot for only a few minutes the first night. The hall closet was locked and unusable (no big deal, since there was a closet in the bedroom) but the bedroom closet was also unusable, as there were totes of the owner's belongings stacked and a vacuum, so there was no way to hang longer items without them getting bunched and wrinkled or covered in dust. The shower had almost no water pressure and the dryer left my clothes still wet after running 2 90-minute dry cycles on high. One of the 2 elevators was down.

We loved our stay at this condo.

The king sized bed was so comfortable. I actually slept better than I do at home. The condo was really clean and spacious. And the view was amazing.

The exhaust fan wasn't working in secondary bath. One elevator was out of order. But we never had to wait long for the other one.

The beach was great the onsite staff was good. I wouldn't stay in that exact unit again.

No ice machine at all in complex III. Ice available for purchase at one of the other buildings. Difficult to get info prior to arrival. I tried to get answers regarding charges and parking prior to arrival and got conflicting answers.

My stay was nice.

The view was amazing.

The shower was moldy. There was a system malfunction on the fire alarm system due to a water leak at 11pm so we had to evacuate down 15 flights of starts.

Everything is close to the property, the beach and the pool are very clean

The room where I stayed was not so clean, the decoration of the room is not modern, the big sofa is dirty and the mattress is too old, you cannot sleep there

the dirty broke down room with dated furniture and appliances there were cum stains on the couch my so. was supposed to sleep on. we ended up buying an air mattress. there was a emergency evacuation the first night we were there. my handicap mother walked down 11 flights of stairs to be told it was just a drill at 11pm at night. I am more upset about that than the outrageous price I paid for a cheaply put together condo. your internet photos are very misleading. it’s a beautiful beach. an awful place to stay. will never book with Vacasa or booking again after this

We love to have breakfast and late night drinks on the balcony. Highly disappointed.

Great location and overall nice site. Easy beach access and nice pools.

Was not as advertised. Shows table and chairs in photos on balcony. No table or chairs. Unit sleeps 8 people but nowhere to sit on balcony. Vacasa was notified and said it was up to the owner. No customer service from company that represents the property and takes your money. Unit also has broken blinds, vanity lights flashed, TP holder in one bathroom fell off the wall. The one in the other room was very loose. Fire alarm randomly went off from time to time. Previous complaints in reviews about unit being dated and carpet nasty. Response was that unit was updated after complaint. Only thing changed from photos of the unit is that they painted.

The coffee pot needs updating. The mattress in the bedroom is not very comfortable. The closet in the bedroom is full of the owners things so placing hanging clothes was difficult.

Wouldn’t recommend this condo.

The view was beautiful. The location of the Phoenix III is great in Orange Beach.

The condo wasn’t clean. In the bathroom, there was dust, dirt on the floor, and shower stall is stained. The couch in the living room is worn and the leather is coming off. Chair in living room is stained. There were no blankets in the condo. Chair on the balcony was broken and laying out there. Door to the condo doesn’t shut unless you pull it to very hard. The door entering the condo was not shut when we arrived for our stay. We made the best of it but for the amount paid, we expected a clean condo and blankets at least.

A perfect beach vacation for me and my kids.

The location right on the beach couldn’t have been more magical. Our apartment was cozy and decorated adorably. It was super clean and a happy place to be. Check in and check out were easy as pie.

I was super excited about the do-able price, but was shocked at how much was charged for fees! It was MUCH higher with those tacked on and suddenly wasn’t the bargain I was hoping for.

Worst I’ve ever had

the beach

there was nobody on any of the beds after a three hour phone call with the staff that he was in thrown into the middle of each bed and not made and I had to go purchase blankets for my family at target the toilets barely flushed all the appliances were super outdated and barely worked is not of the Phoenix quality that I am used to in the past I spent hours and hours on the phone trying to get the living room TV to work because it’s very old and the speakers are blown no TV was ever given back to us and we had no TV all weekend. I really would like my money back for this day it was the worst I’ve ever had the mattress is also we’re over 10 years old and we’re not functional anymore.
