PRIVATE POOL FOR EXCLUSIVE USE!!! *****COVID -19 added procedures ( see below) The Pool House is a recently converted, light, contemporary house which is quietly situated on the edge of Petworth and an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is only a short walk to the centre of the historic town, with its convenience stores, delis, many antique shops, independent retailers, gastro pubs, restaurants and cafes. It is also within easy walking distance of historic Petworth House and Park and the Shimmings Valley. The property benefits from the sole use of a large swimming pool during the summer months (operates only from the end of May to early September). Inside, the house comprises a large open plan sitting room with dining area and well equipped modern kitchen with granite worktops. There is a downstairs bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite wetroom (and direct access down stairs to the pool and garden- only in the summer months). Upstairs there are two more ensuite bedrooms, one kingsize bed and the other a double. There is a second sitting area upstairs too with a small double sofa bed. (There is an additional fee of £50 payable on arrival for making up and supply of extra linens if sofa bed required) The house is furnished with contemporary furniture and fittings, with light oak flooring throughout. The beds are all very comfortable and the hotel quality linen has a very high thread count and is ironed by hand! There is ample room to park up to three cars outside (additional cars by arrangement) and for the summer months only, a large well maintained pool and pool garden laid to lawn with flower beds and rambling roses. Modern and comfortable garden furniture, including six pool loungers and a dining table and six chairs, are provided together with a bbq. *********COVID-19 additional procedures: Contactless checkin and out. From the beginning of June until the end of September only weekly bookings from Fridays unless otherwise agreed. One small well behaved dog is welcome. Enclosed garden available when pool is open.
