A gem in el palo

Fabulous place spacious homely full of plants . . Short walk to many shops and market .

Downstairs toilet smelt a bit . Bikes were unusable due to seat problem and no tools

Lovely roof terrace

Three storey apartment for a friend and myself. Lots of space and the roof terrace had lots of sun which was brilliant. Beds were comfy and the place could sleep up to 6 people if you wanted a bigger group. Close to the beaches, a good long walk and you could get to loads more beach's in no time just by walking/if you run it's also a nice jog in the evening. . Kitchen and living area were big. shops were close and bus route was super super easy, but ubers were only between 8 euro- 13 euros Chairs, umbrella, beach towels could all be used to take to the sea front. TV had a streaming link so you are able to watch films on nights you want to chill.

It wasn't dirty but it definitely felt like when we arrived someone else had been living there and sort of had just done a 'quick' tidy round. Parking was a pain as even tho it's a public street it gets super busy, I think people must park and go to work on the bus. This isn't the hosts fault but there was an apartment opposite having renovations done so every morning we were being woken by drills and saws at 8am. The electrics also were cut off for a few hours on one of the days, I understand electricity cuts out regularly in malaga, which normally can be switched straight back on, but this took a while.

Very familiar accomodation with everything you can wish for.

Very comfortable accomodation, equipped with everything you need, and more! Like staying at a friend´s house, but by yourself. Gives a feeling of daily Spanish life, with locals all around you. Good transport to town available with the local buses. A few minutes walk to the beach (actually several beaches) with few visitors. Good local restaurants along the beaches. Friendly host available for questions, and also contact person close to the apartment.

You live very close to the surrounding neighbours and now and then maybe a little too close for comfort. Be prepared for sounds coming through.....

I highly recommend this place! The house if fully equipped and there is everything you may need during your holiday stay (dishes, cosmetics, iron, TV, sunbeds and even 2 bikes!). It's very nice, clean and cosy. Its location is perfect as it is just few steps from the beach. The owner is very communicative and the lady who was waiting for us with the keys was very nice and helpful. It is a great place and I would definitely choose it once again.

Wonderful real Spanish house close to the beach

It is a really cozy house in a residential area in El Palo on 8 minutes walking from the boulevard and the beach. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace. The host is very friendly and flexible and responds quickly to questions. There are 2 bicycles free to use and beach chairs and umbrellas. El Palo is a nice village with next to the beach restaurants also some good places in the streets behind the boulevard. Malaga is easy to visit by bus or electric scooter.

Very happy with our decision to stay here!

Owner was fabulous and very helpful prior to the trip. House was very clean and stocked with most essentials for a family style stay.

Unfortunately, I had trouble with my phone and couldn't call the caretaker to meet us on arrival (though a kind neighborhood soul helped us out!). A plan B to get the keys would have been a good idea, in retrospect. If we had a larger family, eating in would have been a little harder, as the kitchen table was small. There was a larger table and convenient service kitchen area on the third floor roof, though.

What a great house!

We stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of August. Our first impressions were that the house was so clean and the owner has thought of everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot recommend the house highly enough. Thank you Torbjorn, we will be back.
