The view is breathtaking as well the location is close to the market, the route to all points starts just outside the hotel.
The hotel is quite old and hasn't been renovated, there are no modern facilities as switch boards at multiple places, TV, fridge.

The Valley view which was very beautiful. I don’t think something in matheran you can experience such a beautiful sunset and sunrise view
The money you spent is for that
I think they can upgrade the furniture in the rooms, that’s the only thing I felt like

- very quiet place to stay
- furniture a bit old, rooms should be renovated
- guys during the check in made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Then The lady came and everything was easy.
- no juice for breakfast - no beers in the hotel
- bit over priced
