Residences du Carondelet (Residences on Carondelet) are Vacation Residences built in the style of traditional Garden District cottages. The residences are located on Carondelet Street one block off St. Charles Street. Just adjacent to everything the Garden District offers in NOLA. This Spacious 3 Bedroom 2.5 Bath Carondelet St residence has spacious Kitchen Living and Dining area downstairs complete with a half Bath. The 3 Bedrooms and 2 Baths are located on the second level along with a Balcony that overlooks Carondelet St. The secure gated compound layout has a large private courtyard shared by all units as well as a shared swimming pool. Six of the units are new construction and four of the units are modern updates of a turn of the century structure. Complete with recessed lighting and granite countertops. All units have century-old wood flooring and updated appliances and the newer units have exquisite quartz countertops. Street car - Residences Du Carondelet sits within one block of St. Charles Street Car Lines. Residents can step out the door and ride North through Mid-City to City Park or West through the CBD uptown to the Garden District, the Universities, and the Carrollton neighborhood. CBD - Residences Du Carondelet is situated at the walking distance Central Business District (CBD). Originally known as the "Faubourg St. Marie", the CBD was the site of the city's first expansion outside of its original French Quarter boundaries in 1803. PLEASE NOTE: If early check-in/late check-out becomes available, we’ll send you an email/text message with an offer to upgrade to an early check-in or late check-out. • Gatherings of more than 6 people including both overnight guests and visitors are not allowed and may be subject to eviction. Extra guests and visitors are not permitted without management consent The number of overnight guests cannot exceed the maximum occupancy. • State Identification Card or Driver License copy will be requested upon booking. • City residents are required to book a minimum of a 3-night stay. House rules • NO SMOKING in unit/house as well as the balcony. Any violation of the smoking policy will incur a $250.00 fine plus the cleaning costs necessary to remove smoke odors from the unit/house and/or linens. • Quiet hours are observed from 9 pm-8 am. Violators will be charged a $200 fine. • Please note: We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, as well as stolen or damaged items that occur while on the premises, its facilities, or parking lots. • Traveler must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation. • Local resident restrictions apply. Guests residing within a 100-mile radius are required to contact the host before booking. • House parties and illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction. Violators will be charged $500 fine. • Pets are not allowed. Violation of our pet policy may result in a $500 plus cleaning expenses. We encourage guests with service animals to contact us before their stay. • For same day late check-ins, you need to get the host's approval before booking. NICE STAY AND NEIGHBORHOOD. Master bathroom shower does stop up. Bed mattress and pillows are not comfortable but overall great space.

We rented this house for 3 adults, a 2 year old and 11 month old. Plenty of space for all of us and the open kitchen and living room space is nice. We enjoyed the pool as well. The neighborhood is on the more industrial side but great location, very close to St Charles street and the trolley.

This lovely, spacious property was perfect for a multigenerational birthday celebration. The house is well appointed, in a safe area, and close to public transportation. The courtyard is beautiful and the inside of the house has a cute New Orleans theme. Everything you need for a great time in New Orleans and would definitely stay here again!

The property was beautiful with plenty of room. Close restaurants and street car. We chose to walk to the WWII museum rather than wait for the streetcar one day. It was about 0.6 miles. The kitchen was not all that well stocked. It was ok, just not for cereal or soup people. Only 3 spoons and no bowls. No mixing bowls or spatulas (either pancake flipper OR rubber scraper) Communication with Hosteeva had to be through their website, not VRBO app.

Staying at this property wasn’t the best experience. There were several maintenance issues including but not limited to the pool being full of algae and unusable, the refrigerator leaking water because it doesn’t close properly, standing water in a bowl under the leaky kitchen sink, the tubs and showers draining poorly/not at all, the vent on the living room ceiling leaking water onto the living room floor, etc. I contacted Hosteeva through the app with these issues. They sent a maintenance guy over eventually, and he was able to quickly temporarily fix some things but others required more specialized repairs. With a little bit of work, this property could be great and Hosteeva was pretty responsive and helpful. However, the property needs to be fixed up in some major ways at this point.
