Hosts were very kind to leave beer, milk, water, coffee, spaghetti, pasta sauce, and cakes for us. When we asked they provided a blanket, showed us how to turn on the gas line for the stove and helped us find a taxi to Martina Franca as the STP buses don’t run on Sundays. Washer and clothesline outside the front door were great. Tiny moka pot worked. Narrow streets uptown with no sidewalks and old style apartments are always charming while the trade off is added noise.
A spring loaded shower curtain would be a quick fix to a slippery floor. A kettle and a coffee pot would be great. Chair socks for chairs in apartment as well as room above would help reduce noise.

The apartment is in an authentic Ostuni building so you really get the local experience. Ugo was incredibly nice and helpful especially when we arrived, showed us around the apartment, he had kindly left fruit in the fridge that was fresh and delicious when we arrived 😊 also he gave us recommendations for beaches and local restaurants. The place feels like a local home, and you can tell it’s not new but it has everything you need. The fixtures in the bathroom look recently renovated and although the shower has no curtain we didn’t find it to be a major issue. The place is spacious and comfortable. The location is around 15 minutes walking from the old town.

Nel momento in cui accendevi i fornelli si sentiva puzza di gas in tutta la casa.
Proprietario poco disponibile e ha provato a chiederci la tassa di soggiorno nonostante l’avessimo già pagata a Booking.
Difficoltà a trovare parcheggio dato che la casa non ne aveva uno.
