Direct TV Satellite cable w/ ALL premium channels. Central AC & HEAT. On DEMAND water heater - never run out of HOT water! Parking can accommodate 4 cars. Additional parking available - consult with host. This home was designed for the purpose of hosting a family with all the latest amenities. The Cottage is sure to impress you and your guest. The home is very inviting and its main purpose is to make you feel comfortable in your own custom built Cozy Country Cottage! Outdoor Patio area w/ fire pit, exterior patio set and large timbers for additional seating. There's even a RAINBOW PLAY SET for the kids. 3 swings, slide, rock wall & a POOL too! Whole Home GENERAC GENERATOR {additional charges for generator apply}. The Cottage sits on three acres shared by the host. Gravel driveway is also shared. Proximity of each home is about 300 feet apart. Security cameras are on the host home and one ONLY is located on the tree above the Cottage driveway. THEIR ARE NO CAMERAS / RECORDING DEVICES INSIDE THE COTTAGE. We are pet friendly - see rules.

We had a great stay with friends and family at this property. Everything was as described and the host went above and beyond with accommodations. Lots of amenities and small touches were greatly appreciated and the house had everything you could ever want. Well stocked with all kitchen and bathroom essentials and many toys for the kids to enjoy. Would 100% recommend staying here!

Our stay at the Cozy Cottage was not one of leisure. My elderly father was having a major surgery at a nearby hospital and myself and my family needed to be in close proximity of said hospital. Alexis is the most gracious and compassionate owner I have ever encountered in utilizing VRBO. The property is simply beautiful and exactly as described. I am grateful to these hosts for making a difficult time more bearable due to the comfort, cleanliness and beauty of their property. It was a place of respite for us.

This cottage was a perfect place to stay so we could attend all of our granddaughter's graduation functions. Our son and his family flew in, and it made a great family gathering location. The cottage is very clean and nicely decorated. Our 5-year-old grandson enjoyed the playground found on the property. I recommend this location you are looking for a great home away from home.

We are from Mississippi and needed a place to stay for our Son’s wedding in Covington, La. Several family members were able to stay with us and loved the cottage as we did. Nicely decorated and so clean. Alex was great, easily available. We would recommend any to stay in this lovely place.

This location is perfectly close to Abita and also a short drive to Mandeville. This house is perfect and is decorated wonderfully. The host is also amazing. I definitely recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.

Had a great rental experience. Came for a girls get away and had a wonderful time! We cooked a few times and were surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was with cookware and dishes for our group of 8. Loved the peaceful property. Enjoyed the smokeless fire pit several nights!

We spent Christmas in Louisiana this year and rented this beautiful home to be near our son and his family .
Their home was in a peaceful and private area.
Which was very accommodating , the kitchen was fully stocked .
I prepared a traditional Christmas dinner and all pots pans and utensil's were at my disposal.
The 3 bedrooms were spacious and comfortable.
When renting a home TV services can be a bit sketchy along with bad internet service. BUT NOT HERE ! we were able to enjoy a Christmas movie along with viewing our own homes security back in NC.
Which took a lot of stress off of us ,nothing worst then being away from home and having bad internet service. You want find that here !
The outside has fire-pit with a large area to side and relax.
Beautiful front porch with comfortable sitting rockers.
The location was absolutely perfect for us peaceful and quiet,
Oh and Alexis and Kimberly provide us with a decorated Christmas tree in the living area as well as one on the front porch. And I thank them from the bottom of my heart, and my grandson was very impressed.
I want to thank you both for the time we spent there and we will definitely be back , my God bless and keep you both and your family this New Year !

Oh my goodness, this place has everything a family could need or want. We enjoyed every minute of our time here. There were books and toys for the kids and even a playground area. We had a great evening out at the fire pit.
Ample necessities, from dishes to towels and cookware and coffee pot and single cup coffees. It met all of our families needs. Plenty of seating and beds, with extra t throws for sitting by the outside fire. Truly a great experience for our family ,

We stayed here as a family with our 3 children and small dog for Thanksgiving and absolutely loved it. The house has everything you could need. The kitchen has every kitchen appliance, gadget, pot, pan, etc. that you would need to cook with which was perfect for us because we were having our Thanksgiving there. My kids loved the playgound equipment outside and wanted to play outside from the moment their eyes popped open in the morning. They loved sitting by the fireside at night and the hanging lights were dreamy. There is a table outside if you want to have a lovely meal outside. The house was really comfortable. I love the open kitchen and living room. The bathrooms were amazing and super clean. It's a fantastic place to stay with little ones. The house was decorated really beautifully and it had a very cozy feel. To me, it felt like a Hallmark movie. Our dog got out one morning and the owner, Alexis, jumped on his golf cart to help us find her which was super nice. We found her pretty quickly. There are a lot of great places to visit around there - the Abita Brewery, the Mystery Museum, farmer's market on Sundays. We loved it and will book again.

My Family of 6 adults stayed for 3 nights over Thanksgiving. We were very comfortable in this home. Home is close to grocery stores and restuarants in Covington. Beds were comfortable and house was very clean. Would of loved to use the outside fireplace, but it was to rainy. Home is about an hour to downtown New Orleans which was fine for us to spend a day there,

The next day she brought her husband Alexis over and we fell in love with him to. We prayed, laughed and broke bread with them and I think I speak for our group when I say we came there as guests of Alexis and Kimberly but left as friends. We will tell everyone we know to consider the Cozy Country Cottage when visiting NOLA and the Northshore...we will certainly be returning.

We enjoyed our stayed so much. The house was so spacious, clean and comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. It was somewhat secluded but also a short drive into town for groceries, restaurants and other fun activities. We'll definitely be back!

Great place for a family visit
The Country Cottage was perfect for our get together! It was in a convenient location for us and the house was perfect. It was clean and well supplied. We went out to eat and cooked in the well appointed kitchen, we enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch. Next time we’ll have to come in the spring so we can enjoy the porch more! I came to Abita Springs for a music festival and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Cozy Cottage. The home was immaculate and so comfortable. I forgot the pillow I usually travel with and didn’t miss it. All the bedding, mattresses, and pillows were high quality and felt like home. The house is easy to find and on a great property. It’s also perfectly set up for families. They had everything you need for young children and I look forward to coming back one day with my son. Thank you to the gracious hosts for everything. You have an amazing rental property!
