About this house rental
Situated in Big Lake, this attractive house for $159 per night is a great option for your next break. Cloud Nine Cottage is a charming home with many amenities that can sleep 8 (6 adults max), and most comfortably sleeps 4-5. This home includes a full kitchen, full bathroom, living room, laundry/utility room with storage space, game room, yard, and lots of parking! Bedrooms include one private bedroom with queen bed, and one studio style master bedroom with queen bed, and one game room with two twin futons that come together for a full size futon. We also have twin and queen air mattresses available. Pets stay free upon approval! 2 pets maximum. Approval before your stay check-in date date is required. There is a 25.00 pet free for guests who do not seek approval prior to checkin or clean up dog doo-doo from the yard prior to departure. The cottage is located in the heart of Big Lake Town to enjoy activities while staying close to amenities and easy highway access. We strive to make your stay feel like home with extra amenities and attention to detail. Will definitely look into staying again when needing somewhere in Big Lake. Only complaint is non optional damage deposit. It was just my mom and I and we were at the property only about 12 hours due to activities we were in town for, no chance to damage anything and still had to pay.

We rented this VRBO as we were in Big Lake for a wedding. The place was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen with lots of other great features. The master bed was very comfortable, laundry facilities, Keurig and also a regular coffee maker. Shower had great water pressure.
It was close to the grocery store, which was very convenient.
The owners are very responsive and helpful.
One thing to remember is to turn on the lights before walking through the living room to the bedroom, which is a step down, which we didn't see in the dark. So, just watch your step. (It is all in one big room.)
Some traffic noise due to the house being next to the roundabout on the main stretch of road.
We enjoyed our stay and loved all the games that were available.

We have stayed here multiple times and it’s one of our favorite places!!! Has everything we could need and we love the space and location. Managers communicate great and it’s a great place for kids.

We had just moved to AK from the lower 48, and the host was very wonderful about our pets joining us, of course with us cleaning up after them. The housekeeper and host were understanding when we needed a little more time to get our numerous suitcases and family loaded up past the check-out time to move-in to our new home. The home is extremely family friendly, the children loved the chalk board wall, and the games for them to play. Thank you, again! Highly recommend.

This property was the perfect for our visit to see family in Alaska. The property was very clean, spacious, had laundry and supplies, and even provided coffee and a few snacks. We traveled with a 5 month old and they had a pack and play and high chair that were very clean. They also had some game systems for older children. It was close to a store, restaurants, and a gas station.
There were only a few negatives that didn’t affect our trip but might be helpful to point out while you search for your perfect place. First the house is at an intersection (roundabout). It was a very quiet road with very little traffic but is still close to a road. The other was one of the beds is out in the living area (it is pictured that way as well). There is another bed and a sleeper sofa in two separate areas, but depending on the amount of people in your party the bed out in the living area has no privacy and is next to the bathroom door. It worked for our group but something to consider when booking.
Otherwise this place again was VERY clean and spacious! We definitely wouldn’t mind staying there again!

The place was easy to find, just hard to locate the driveway with snow on the ground. Alicia contacted me and helped me find it though and explained someone took their markers. Other than that it was great. Perfect spot to watch tv and play games with friends. Recommend 100%

Property was nice on inside. Outside needed some lawn care. It was not disclosed that property was on heavily used round about. We picked area thinking it would be quiet, wrong.

Love this place
We love our blue big lake house....as my kids would call it!!! More than enough room, great setup, awesome games and activities and our first time staying with no snow so the yard was a plus. Owners are great and so quick to respond to any needs. Our top favorite weekend getaway home with everything we need. Always our top pick when in the area.

Cozy cabin in the woods
We had an excellent experience with this property. There was ample space in all the rooms. The property was clean and had all the necessities. We enjoyed going to Big Lake with the frozen road on the lake and seeing a moose. We were in town for job interviews and house hunting. It suited us perfectly.

This place was so super cute. We couldn't figure out the back door to put our trash in and we tried so hard but it wasn't opening. But other than that the house is so big, cute, and overall very satisfactory.

Perfect for Hockey Tournaments
Near the rink and comfortable. The kids loved the game room and being able to be close for a 6:45 am game.

Conveniently located 2 minutes from the hockey rink this was a perfect place for us to stay. The kids even won first place in the tournament. Check out the coffee stand across the street and Aardvark for dinner.

Conveniently located 2 minutes from the hockey rink this was a perfect place for us to stay. The kids even won first place in the tournament. Check out the coffee stand across the street and Aardvark for dinner.

Nice stay
Ovreall good sized cottage, main master bed is in the same room as the living room. The house is located on a busy roundabout by a main road which we weren't expecting, from the photos we thought it was surrounded by grass and on the lake so we could let our dogs run free.

This is such a peaceful wonderful house. The owners are amazing and helped make our Easter trip magical for our 6 year old. Everything is top shape and they have everything you need to have a relaxing stay.
