Very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was a nice surprise and location was close to the beach and about a 15-20 min walk from the station.

It was a bit tricky having to get our large and heavy suitcases up the steps to reach the room but our host kindly carried one of them up on our arrival. Other than this there were no issues.

We walked to this little guest house about 20 minutes from the station, and slept well, were shown in at a late hour - the highlight really was Fumi (I think her name was), a very friendly member of staff who made us feel welcome and was very open and kind and easy to talk to and laugh with. She was the highlight! Other things were very functional - good little shower, toilet access, and the staff member was kind enough to look after our luggage whilst we went sightseeing. The beach was very close, and we were able to easily walk into town, to the big sights, and back in a day's wanderings.
The strangest thing about this booking was a couple of futon style beds up on a big mezzanine floor, which had a bunk bed vibe, but not enough room to move around in the space with a sofa and table and TV underneath it. So that was a bit odd, navigating it. The ladder was also a bit precarious up to the bed, not held into place. This is the only reason why we'd rethink staying in a similar room - just for ease for packing and unpacking around the room, we felt confined to corners.
