Skansen Holiday

The staff are extremely unfriendly, unapproachable and once they realise you are trying to use google translate to ask them questions, they stop interacting completely. The cleaning staff smoke cigarettes outside the rooms while they are cleaning and there are cigarette butts outside the doors to the chalets. This is very dangerous as there are small children. The location and the hotel are beautiful. the food was fair for breakfast and amazing for dinner. The only saving grace to the staff is a young man by the name of Bartok. he spoke english and was extremely friendly and personable! If it were not for him, we would recommend to avoid the location based on the unfriendliness of the staff, alone, but Bart gives the place hope that the management does hire friendly people sometimes. Thank you Bart for saving your colleagues and the hotel from a damning review.

Amazing hotel! Big, super comfortable home with everything you may need during your stay! Great location near the lake and the most delicious breakfast ever.

Good communication with the staff, great breakfast, very clean, convenient parking

Very dark at night, carrying heavy suitcases in the rain under dark was a bit challenging.

Prompt replies on Booking, welcoming staff at the restaurant and delicious breakfast.

It is difficult to reach by public transport from Kraków, so take extra care with connections and time management.
