The breakfast porridge was exceptional with the local fish, clams, & prawns. It was such a warm & hearty breakfast & It helps that the owner’s mom was like a mom who wanted us to eat more & reminded me to make sure that I bring away my phone charger. Her son also took some time to show us the way to the salt field even though he was a busy man. On the 2nd day he drive us to a nearby oyster lagoon without charging us since we had no car. Am really thankful for his kindness & hospitality. When I asked my kids what was the highlight of their Taiwan trip, they both said the salt field & the free bicycle Cycling around the area was the most memorable for them.
