We loved everything about our stay here! The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy, there was a large kitchen/living area and an outdoor area all available to use. The breakfast was amazing and sooo delicious and was carefully prepared for us each morning. The area and street was lovely and quiet but only a short distance away from busier Sagres. Honestly couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you so much for having us 😊

- location - its close to everything you need - beach, nature, Sagre but far enough to be in quite location
- Joao and his mother are amazing hosts, building is newly reconstructed, rooms are clean and offer everything you need
- breakfast is amazing, its the best. Breakfast i have every had in any b&b or hotel even the 5 stars one,
- you can park your car in front of the house free of charge. Basically wherever you park it will be mac 3 min walk

I am an American with Italian relatives visiting Portugal for the first time. The excellent reviews were right. We loved staying here. The lodging is spacious, pleasing and clean, but most of all Joao and his mother, Angela, who are from Vila do Bispo, are very welcoming. They gave us great local insights and the abundant, beautiful breakfasts were made from their own garden tomatoes and had an incredible flavor. We had contact with the local culture and learned a lot. The church and Museum in Vila do Bispo are a wonderful surprise. In this small town you are close to beaches, Sagres and lots of sites, but faraway from tourists. Here it was a vacation from our vacation in Portugal. Our favorite experience!

The rooms and living room were spacious and really clean - we felt right at home! We especially loved the breakfast, which was prepared with great care and was super delicious. Our host João encouraged us to take the fruit to the beach and even prepared a small lunch package the next day! The location is also superb as it is close to many beautiful beaches at the west coast and Sagres is also just a 10 min drive. Two big supermarkets are also close by.
There are 3 rooms at the property on the first floor and a shared kitchen/living room area on the ground floor. It felt a bit weird to share the ground floor with the other rooms as the property had more of a private apartment vibe but with other people. During our stay, the guest in the third room were nice and easygoing but I imagine you could encounter other guest as well so just keep that in mind. Also the walls between the two bedrooms on the left were quite thin. All in all that did not bother us much and we really enjoyed our stay with João.
