Nestled in Fredericksburg, this lovely cabin for $147 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The Ava Haus Cabin is located just 2.2 miles west of downtown Fredericksburg on US Highway 290. The Cabin is approximately 400 ft. in size. One bedroom, with a King Size Bed, and a full bathroom with shower. The floor plan includes a living room, dining area, and full kitchen (open concept), Cable TV and WiFi. The Cabin has a covered front porch to enjoy some fresh air and relaxation. Why this property ? When looking for property to purchase, we immediately fell in love with the grounds and the comfortable feel of the property. Ava Haus represented the authentic heritage of what has been so lovingly preserved in the city of Fredericksburg. Also; the location is perfect! It is away from the center of town, yet close enough to be in downtown in less than 3 minutes. Unique Ava Haus allows guests to enjoy the benefits of the country and still be minutes from wineries, shopping, restaurants and the natural parks of the area. Guests can have a true feel for the history of the region when they stay in an authentic German homestead complete with the original well, thick limestone walls and even the original root cellar where the pioneers stayed during times of danger. At Ava Haus, we welcome your entire family to include children and pets. Each guesthouse has a TV with satellite, WI-FI internet, refrigerator always stocked with yogurt, juice, and water. The kitchenette provides coffee, tea, and a selection of snacks. Microwave per guesthouse. Guests are free to enjoy board games, BBQ grills, and explore the ample grounds.

Proximity to the town was great. The cabin was perfectly adorned and ready for a couple. From the fresh, blueberry muffins on the table to a few goodies in the refrigerator for breakfast - all the details were thought out. We saw a couple of deer, including a buck come next to our cabin.

We came to the cabin for a little getaway after a death in the family. It was clean and adorable. They had everything we needed including eggs, sausage, muffins, and snacks. Waiting for us . A very private cabin never saw anybody else around , definitely would go back again thank you so much wonderful stay.

Nice place, cozy. Well equipped with snacks and breakfast food. Close to town, but far enough to be away from the busyness. Clean. All was great. Only complaint would be some excess highway noise as not far from it. Would stay again!

We had a great time getting away for Thanksgiving this year and spending our time in Fredericksburg. The cabin was exceptionally clean, cozy and perfect for my husband and I (along with our sweet Yorkie). We would definitely recommend this property if you’re looking for accommodations in Fredericksburg.

This little cabin was perfect for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. It is a very short drive into Fredericksburg for some dining and shopping. We really enjoyed seeing so many White-Tailed Deer on properties in the area as well. There is so much to do in this part of Texas. I wish we had booked an extra day for exploring. I give this experience a 10/10.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. You can tell you were in the Texas Hill Country with the attention to details paid to the western themed decor. We also loved the full kitchen stocked with snacks and great breakfast item choices so we could make our own breakfast. The cabin was very clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Looking forward to returning.

The drive into Fredericksburg was quick and convenient and it was nice to have the country feel away from the hustle of downtown.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin very much. The only downside I have to say is that the new construction on a silo cabin, I assume another rental, did have me concerned that if we booked again in the future that there would be less privacy. This new construction seemed a little close for me probably 30 yards. But I prefer more remote cabins myself. ,

Had a great weekend stay at this property. Close enough to town without having to drive far to enjoy the town. It's close to 290 but you do not hear any of the traffic noise during the day/night hours. The fresh breakfast items in the fridge was a very sweet gesture and much appreciated. Will return soon!!!

This property was just right for a weekend getaway! It’s nestled just far enough away from downtown Fredericksburg that it’s quiet and feels secluded, yet it’s only minutes away from all the downtown shops, dining, etc. Communication with the property manager was easy, as was check in/check out. This cozy cabin is a perfect retreat deep in the heart of Texas!

The property was only a five minute drive to Main Street, and the cabin was perfect. The host was very accommodating and turned the light on for us to help us find the cabin (we arrived at night) the cabin is tucked away from the main property which makes it hard to find at night, but once you find it you will find the location very cozy. The host was very responsive and very accommodating. If you are staying in Fredericksburg you HAVE to stay here.

This was the perfect getaway. My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary weekend and spent the days in Fredericksburg. Having a oven in the cabin was nice as we fixed breakfast at the cabin in the mornings before we left for the day. There was a propane grill where we had steaks one night then watched the sunset over the hill country! The bed was great, it was cool enough we didn’t need the AC we just opened the windows ans enjoyed the breeze.
