Excellent location, and the hotel LOOKS very nice, and very quiet.
* No hot water... the hottest the shower got was luke warm - lucky it wasnt winter.
* No microwave, it had a type of convection oven, which had a smashed glass front so was unusable (see photo).
* Dirty towels hanging up behind the bathroom door, stiff as a board and obviously dirty (see photo)
* left standing at the front desk for 15 mins because no one was there. No bell or buzzer to ring. I emailed them with no reply. Another TWO couples who came later were stuck outside and couldnt check in for the same reason. A staff member eventually turned up.
* the bed was really uncomfortable, mattress was kind of dented with a trundle type base.
* considering all of the above, it was not worth the money, you can get better in Portugal for much less.
