Geni and Christian were absolutely amazing hosts. They were so warm, welcoming and helpful, and spoke great English, which made everything incredibly easy for us. The property was very clean, comfortable and 500m from the gate of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. The room was fantastic. It was the perfect place to stay before starting the Camino, and we really appreciated all their help and hospitality.

I chose Gure Lana intentionally for my return to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, and it exceeded every expectation. Christian and Genevieve are the kind of hosts who make you feel like you're coming home—their warmth is genuine, not performed. The property itself is beautiful, a perfect mix of Basque charm and real comfort, with every detail cared for in a way that feels effortless. Before or After walking the Camino, or simply visiting the Basque region on a holiday, this is exactly the kind of place you want to land: peaceful, welcoming, and deeply rooted in this special town.
Honestly, nothing. The only downside is that you won't want to leave.
