Located in West Plaza, this charming condo for $76 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Summary: Our condo is located just steps from the Country Club Plaza. Designed in 1922, the Plaza was built as the country's first suburban shopping district. Stroll through it's endless options of stores, restaurants and nightlife. Make sure to stop along the way to admire the art & architecture. Numerous fountains, sculptures and murals make the Plaza a true outdoor art gallery. The Space: Spacious 2 Bedroom condo with open kitchen/dining/living room. Our condo is renovated and features granite counters, stainless steel appliances, upgraded lighting & plumbing fixtures and in-unit washer/dryer. Large bedroom features 2 queen beds with ensuite bathroom and walk in closet. Smaller bedroom has a queen bed. Enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony while you unwind during your Plaza stay. Kitchen features stainless appliances, stocked with cookware, eating utensils, dinnerware and some small appliances. Enjoy Fiber WIFI while staying at the condo. This condo is very spacious and comfortable. FEATURES AND SPECIFICS: **Master bedroom has a queen-sized bed (sleeps 2), Smart TV and walk-in closet. **Second bedroom has two queen beds (sleeps 4), Smart TV and walk-in closet. **Living room features sectional couch (could sleep 1) and 55" LED Smart TV. **High-speed internet (WIFI included) and TV streaming services with HD antenna for local channels. **Private parking lot with one reserved parking space (larger vehicles may need to park on the street). **Variations in furniture/furnishings/finishes could vary due to replacement over time, but will always be oh like kind as shown in the listing photos and detail. The bed configurations and floor plans will always be the same. Guest Access: Guests get access to entire condo, plus exterior community courtyard area, reserved parking (one space included -- parking space may be too small for large vehicles). Off street parking also available. The Neighborhood: Our condo is located just steps from the Country Club Plaza. Charges assessed for smoking. *Pets welcome with responsible owners; certain aggressive breeds not allowed. We were in town to celebrate our anniversary by attending the KU vs WSU basketball game downtown. This condo was very convenient to downtown and also to the plaza where we had evening dinner reservations. Our only glitch was the door code entry to the building wasn’t working. We did get a prompt reply from the owner plus a neighbor was on his porch and ran down to let us in. The condo itself was comfortable and served our purposes. Parking is a little tight, but we managed!

The location was excellent for our purposes. The condo was spacious. The kitchen was not stocked, very limited with cookware, plates, etc which made preparing meals very difficult.

PROS: Location was great, walking distance of plaza. Place was clean and had 2 full-size bedrooms.
CONS: Though central, the area was a little bit sketchy. Bed Mattresses were the worst I have ever slept on - big dips in them you would roll into - we got no sleep. We took it in turns to get to sleep on the couch! Also, the advertised parking space was taken up by an abandoned car for the whole time we were there, so we had to park on the street. the owner said there was nothing they could do about it. Lastly - the kitchen had almost no basic equipment (pots, wine glasses, enough cutlery, etc).

This property was clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The check in process couldn’t be easier and the host was easy to communicate with. We loved the proximity to the Plaza and Westport and downtown. As a runner, I can say that early morning runs were great and I always felt safe. We will come back on our next visit to KC!

We were so thankful to have found this property last minute because we were invited to a family 4th of July party. It is so nice to be able to stay in a multiple bedroom place instead of getting my daughter her own hotel room. The place was quiet, really nice and perfect for the weekend.

I was in town for one night (I was attending a funeral). The spot was 5-10 minutes from everything and everywhere I needed to be. The spot was spacious and comfortable. Also it was pretty quiet.

Loved the apartment and the location. We were in walking distance of many restaurants and stores. Within driving distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Place was very cute and clean. A plus was your own designated parking space!

I am very disappointed I have to write this review. My husband and I and another couple rented this condo for a weekend trip to KC. Finding the condo and accessing it (getting in) was easy. We found when we got to the condo there was no iron or ironing board so I texted owner and, after several texts, their cleaning lady brought an iron and ironing board.
Late in the evening we were getting ready for bed and it had started raining. I went into the kitchen to get a glass and stepped in a large puddle of water. There was rain water coming in from the back door (we really don’t know where it was coming from). I immediately texted the owner and heard nothing back. I called and left a voicemail. No reply from owner. My friends found another phone number to call so I called that number. The owner answered that number and kept saying he couldn’t hear me as I started describing the floor flooding. After a few more minutes of this, he finally could hear me and said to just wipe up the water with towels. Of course we did but my husband and friends and I really didn’t spend over $1,000 to wipe up flood water and deal with a mess. Owner did not seem concerned about the floor nor understand why we were upset. When asked if one night’s refund would be given, the owner replied only if we left the condo for the night. It was past 10:30PM, we had nothing else lined up so we just had to deal with the mess and not receive a refund. Owner was upset with us for calling and called us “a pain in the butt” referring to requesting an iron and ironing board earlier and reporting of the flooding.
Owner had cleaning ladies come the next morning (so kitchen floor was sopping and squishy wet when you walked on it all night). The very nice and apologetic cleaning ladies brought a dehumidifier and extra, clean towels for us. They also located a fan to constantly blow on the floor which I understood but was unpleasant for us and made the condo chilly.
I started a complaint case withh VRBO and feel that will go nowhere and is another long and disappointing story.
I cannot recommend this condo nor the owner at all.

Needed a place in KC for a family of 6 and didn't want to be in a cramped hotel room. I booked it because it was cheap and looked ok. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this place is. It's roomy, comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, and well equipped with literally everything we needed. The owner was also quick to respond to my emails.
I'd highly recommend it.

Needed a place in KC for a family of 6 and didn't want to be in a cramped hotel room. I booked it because it was cheap and looked ok. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this place is. It's roomy, comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, and well equipped with literally everything we needed. The owner was also quick to respond to my emails.
