Hotel was very nicely decorated yet did not make me feel too upscale. It is a really nice hotel in a fun and fancy area- Country Club Plaza. Parking was $25 a night but felt very safe and secure. Will def stay here again.

It was an anniversary get away. Our mini fridge didnt work, so they brought in a bigger fridge for us to use. No robe or slippers as offered. The balcony faced a building and my whole view was of a building and part of a busy road. The shower door was broken, you can tell it was an older room and not upkept as well. We called for room service a few times and always went to voicemail. We went up to the restaurant for breakfast and no other customers there. We were suppose to get a $9 couple breaskfast and it wasnt given nor was the discount applied. I asked for me receipt to be emailed and never recieved it. My over all bill was $50 more than it should and have no idea as to why.

I had such a lovely time at this hotel. It was very clean, and every employee that I encountered was lovely. The restaurant in the hotel was absolutely delicious, which is so rare when you eat at a hotel. It was delicious, and I was very happy. Would highly recommend staying here. I miss that bed already.

I consider this hotel a secret gem in KC. The facilities are gorgeous and the staff is exceptional. We stay at a lot of hotels for fun and we will most definitely be back to the Fontaine.

The bar and lounge is amazing. Quiet, modern, cozy feel. The drinks and food are amazing. A little pricey but definitely worth it. The bartender the day we stayed there, 26 Jan 2024, was amazing! He made sure we had everything we needed and so friendly and fun. Overall it is a very nice hotel. The rooms are newer modern and big, love the huge shower.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The most surprising aspect that it smells really good. Probably the best smelling hotel I’ve even been in. Everything was neat and clean and the staff were incredibly supportive.

I can get cold at night so I like to use the extra blanket but when I went to grab it I noticed that it was just shoved into the bag, not even folded. That grossed me out cause it made me think they didn’t wash it after the last guest and just shoved it back in the bag. We came with our friends and their toilet next door flooded with feces contaminated water. Service at the bar and restaurant were terrible. We came back from a wedding Saturday night and went straight up there for a night cap. The teenage girl at the hostess booth was on her phone. Didn’t even bother to look up right away to say hi and when she did an awkward silence later she said “you can go down there”. As we sat at the table nobody came by to say hi or take an order. The whole world is short staffed but you can stop by and just say hey we will be with you in a moment at the very least. We waited for about 15-20 minutes and left. Next morning we went up to the restaurant for brunch. This time the host did greet us and he told us to find a seat anywhere. We had to grab our own menus from another table and waited for a waiter again. Nobody else had gotten served in the area either so we left yet again. While the hotel is nice, it was not the experience we were hoping for.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Great atmosphere, felt like a boutique hotel with the amenities of a large hotel. The plaza was perfect for our date night with shopping and dinning near. The whole area was very walkable and safe. Parking was free and an ease.

Liked my room and patio view. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. It was low key low stress enjoyable environment. I enjoyed the appetizers and wine before I went to the KC ballet. Fully enjoyed the entire experience.

separate and stand-alone building with its own one-way driveway, makes you feel safe and with privacy compared with other hotels. Valet parking only, but I was greeted immediately. Lobby is not big or spacious, but it's all you want for privacy. Check-in took only 3 minutes, and I was in my room within 9 minutes from time I pulled to valet.

The condition and location of the property are excellent. Convenient parking garage and easy access to great restaurants and shopping. My only complaint this stay was the in room Wi-Fi was basically unusable. I ran a speed test and the signal was less than 1 mbps.

Unfortunately the first room that we checked into had hair and food on the floor. We were moved to a second room and that one had a hair on the bed. They gave us a $25 GC for the inconvenience. The carpet in hallway was dirty for two days. Aesthetically a beautiful hotel. Staff are extremely friendly. Lakota will take you where you want to go. Visit Jes at Rooftop bar, she is great!
