Nestled in Long Lake, this charming cottage for $425 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Wake up on Long Lake to spectacular sun rises and the serenading of loons. This charming cottage faces East and sits directly across the water from the village of Harrison. Borrow one of two kayaks or the paddle board and head to Harrison for a meal or ice cream. This cozy cottage is 800 square feet and includes a balcony overlooking the water and 2 air-conditioned bedrooms and laundry room on the lower level. The upper level (where you enter) is an open-floor layout with a sofa and a futon that sleeps two. The well-stocked kitchen includes a dishwasher. Bring or rent a boat and tie it up to the dock for the week. Looking for an all-day boating adventure? Leave the dock and boat to Frye Island in Sebago Lake through the Songo Lock...one of the last manual locks in the country. Long Lake connects to Brady Pond, Crooked River, the Lock, and then Sebago Lake and Frye Island. A highlight for any boater in the Lakes Region! Or stay in Long Lake and enjoy 11 miles of lake. Swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding...so many choices! Yard and dock is shared with the owner but unless she's heading out on her pontoon boat or taking a 5 minute dip after a run, you'll have the yard/dock to yourself during your stay. The town of Bridgton is 3 1/2 miles away and is the quintessential small town with great restaurants, a book store, gift shops, an art gallery, movie theater, grocery store, nail salon, pharmacy and more. And don't miss the drive-in movie theater! Hawk Mountain overlooking Long Lake is an easy 20 minute hike with gorgeous views, including Mount Washington! Hawk Mountain is a 10 minute drive from the cottage. The owner lives next door and can easily provide support if any issues arise. We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay. The cottage was spic and span when we arrived (and we hope not too much worse for wear when we left! ) We could dock our boat right down the hill. Our only disappointment was that Julia was abroad on her own vacation so we didn't cross paths.

We loved it so much last year we came back for a second stay. This property and location are just perfect. Julia, the owner and host, is so warm and welcoming and genuinely excited to share her beautiful property.
This is a terrific spot to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet, with still plenty to do close by and on property. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Just what we were looking for! We wanted somewhere close to the mountain for skiing, but also where we could ice skate and ice fish. This couldn't have been more perfect. The property is excellent with a nice yard on the lakeshore, sandy area for kids to swim, large accessible dock and a great fire pit. The host living right next door is a major plus - she is very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, but still manages to make the rental very private.
The cottage itself is well fitted out and very comfortable. Our family of four also made use of the living area futon as a third bedroom and it worked great. Both nearby towns offer fun for rainy days and the lake is beautiful.

Judy is an amazing host. We were looking for a weekend getaway with a few friends and Julie’s place was just perfect. We enjoyed BBQ by the fire, morning coffee on the dock, and the cottage was clean and very well stocked. We stayed in early October and the bedrooms each had ample heating.

Excellent lake house in Bridgton
Meticulously kept and renovated lake house at the North end of Long Lake, a short distance from the small town of Harrison. 2 bedroom and a futon. Clean, with new utilities wifi, tv, oven dishwasher and grill. Back yard leads with fire pit leads to dock and lake. 2 kayaks included. Owner lives next door and super helpful. Lake is gorgous. There is some boat traffic, but not bad. Plenty of wild live, short drive to Harrison, Bridgeton and Naples. Easy kayak trip to the icecream store in Harrison was a hit with the kids.

Lovely stay at Julia's Long Lake Cottage
Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Julia's Long Lake Cottage. The cottage is compact, but well designed and equipped with many extras, including a wide selection of k-cups and a complete s'mores kit. (We really enjoyed our campfire!)The reservation and check-in process was very easy and Julia is very responsive to questions. The waterfront area is very peaceful, with adirondack chairs on the dock and grass. There are some rocks and grasses in the access area but they are easy to swim around for enjoyable swims. The cottage is conveniently located within easy walking and boating distance of Harrison and is only a few miles from Bridgton as well. Julia is a great host and we recommend staying at her cottage!

Excellent Summer Vacation with Family
This place really is a gem. It is small, but for our family (myself, my wife, my parents, and our 2 kids ages 5 & 7) it was perfect. The lake is gorgeous, great fishing, and the location is perfect. We walked into town, got ice cream at the Creamery and any thing else we needed we found at The Tie Up or the Harrison General Store (all right next to eachother). Long Lake is spectacular and this home was perfect for us. Julia was right next door and couldn't have been nicer and more accomadating. Everything was perfect.

Relaxation and fun at the lake
We enjoyed a wonderful week at Julia’s cottage with our twin 6 year old boys. The house was perfect for our family of 4 (we had our boys share the queen bed). Upon arrival the house was spotlessly clean and nicely cool (which was great since it was 90 degrees outside). The views of the lake from the upstairs and the sound of loon calls in the night were lovely. Although Julia was away the week we were there, she checked in on us via message and was very friendly and responsive. The cottage is not overly large, but the layout is very nice and the furniture was quite comfortable. The lake was perfect for our 6 year olds. There is a sandy bottom near the shore and calm warm water for floating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and swimming. Although the lake was busy with powerboats on the weekend, they stuck to the middle of the lake and the area near the house felt very protected. During the weekdays the lake was quiet. Ideal for a relaxing day by the lake with our kids. Julia also recommended a wonderful hike, and we enjoyed fires in the fire pit. The only thing we didn’t use was the lawn games we brought, as the lawn down to the water was quite wet, but we didn’t miss those as the lake was so great. There is a great washer and dryer and a new grill at the house. We enjoyed both of those. Overall, the house was just as we had hoped it would be, and the lake was perfect.

The cottage was perfect for us. Comfortable and clean. Very homey. Great place to sit back and just relax. Julia thought of everything. If you needed or wanted something it was available, just open the door to a cabinet or closet. Great view of Long Lake. Julia was easy to contact and responded quickly to our messages. No doubt we will be visiting again.
