The hotel is very central and accessible to everything in DC. It is well designed, with a friendly staff. I also appreciated that the rooms are good size.
Not a big deal, but one of the 2 working elevators was being used as a service elevator. And they struggled to find my booking when I checked because I forgot what room I was in (I assumed they would be able to find it with my name).

Great location
One out of three elevators worked for the 3 days I was there. The fitness center looked and felt like it had never been cleaned and two of four treadmills didn’t work. The AC in my room wasn’t working properly and I asked them to check it when I went out for the evening, they said they’d send someone right up and never did so I got to deal with that when I got back later that night and then all they did was switch the filter which did nothing. The shower didn’t drain properly and started to overflow into the bathroom after all of five minutes. To turn off one of the lamps in my room I had to unscrew the lightbulb. I would not stay in this place again. It’s trying to be a boutique but was poorly executed
