Nice stay at Sligo

Really nice host. The bed and the bath towel are very comfy. It was ideally located.

Some guests took their shower during the "quiet time" but that happens in a guest house and the host are not to blame.

I paid 70€ and 30€ and I did not get the 30€ back. Total it costs me 100€ and it’s 10 KM far away from the Town

I like both husband and wife tactics as they using for the scam with the customer. First I paid 70€ for the booking and after that They taken the 30€ deposit in the name of damage as they will return back at the time of checkout and after full payment booking and before 24 hours arrival of customer they send the message to the customer after all the paid booking regarding deposit. These scammers doing like this, not allowed anyone to take shower or bath after 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM. If you want to pee so you have to control yourself till morning and if you want to use toilet in this time so they will come to you when you use the toilet and will say you, you are violating the policy of the house in the name of noise as never mentioned before booking or by direct message. They are specially coming to your room and listen your voices, what are you talking with your wife from the outside the door. Might be they are filming as well but I leave this place in the midnight due to these scamming problem and I booked Riverside Hotel and left this place

Nice accommodation, pity about the lack of breakfast.

The owners offered to drive my wife to the funeral.

There wasn't any breakfast. I booked this "Bed & Breakfast" on behalf of my wife who was attending a funeral nearby. When she arrived at the house she enquired as to breakfast times only to be told that "there is no breakfast with this booking". When she explained that she was attending a funeral and would need something to eat before she left she was told "Well I could make you some tea and toast but it would be after 9.00am. When I was told about the breakfast no show I checked the booking and in the FAQ there was a question about breakfast and it stated that "breakfast is served between 8.30 and 10.00am". I had to delve much further into the "information" to find the "there is no breakfast served with this booking" announcement. However, my wife tells me that the owners were very nice and helpful and offered to drive her to the funeral which was much appreciated. It is such a pity that the experience was spoiled by the lack of breakfast, it is after all advertised as a "Bed & Breakfast".

Basic facilities in a good location

I was surprised to find that there was no breakfast. Then some breakfast was offered. This was minimal.

Homely, welcoming. I felt totally at ease. Couldn't ask for better.

Everything was more than fine. Recommend this accommodation to anyone. Would use again!! i arrived after a 76 mile gruelling cycle from Louisburgh totally drenched and it was so nice to see a friendly face. Was made to feel home right away. My bike was stored safely away. HOME FROM HOME!. Thanks!

I would not stay there again because of the small room and beds.

The hosts, Celine and Charles were very nice and accomodating.

The room was a child's room, way too small for two adults. The beds were single beds and too small for a grown man. Sharing a bathroom wasn't ideal, but it was clean.

We barely slept and left as soon as we could in the morning.

The mattresses were comfortable. The temperature was easy enough to adjust.

The host’s social skills are lacking. He was kindly responsive to direct requests and questions, but his body language and the written communication of rules landed as incredibly unwelcoming. The linens were over-fragranced, the bedside space was so small that my cousin and I both accidentally knocked things off in the middle of the night making a huge racket. The walls are thin so I heard the details of other guests’ bathroom visits in much more detail than I needed.

A great place to stay in Sligo, with welcoming hosts, generous breakfast, and great value for money.

The hosts, Celine and Charles were lovely and very welcoming. The breakfast was very varied and generous. We loved the new covered outdoor seating area in the back yard. Handy location for Sligo town, and really great value for money. Home from home feel to the place. Thanks to Celine and Charles.

Checkout time seems a little early.

Very good

Location was handy to town and easy to find. Hosts were very friendly and made you feel at home. Clean and tidy and plenty to eat for breakfast.

Personal thing but shared bathroom is not our preference.

Room very comfortable, clean & quiet. Bathroom clean & well appointed. Breakfast excellent with good selection. The owner very welcoming.

An en suite bathroom would have been nice but l appreciate this is not always possible.

Convienient b&b in Sligo

Convienient b&b at the periphery of Sligo. The use of the shared bathroom went surprisingly good. Car required to sligo center. Breakfast with Cereals and warm eggs, tomato and potato edges.

Celene and Charles were great hosts. It is hard to give a proper review because we only stayed there one night.

It would have been nice to walk into town, but due to the weather and us being short on time, we drove. Parking was difficult in town.

It was excellent. The shower was the best we had during our entire trip so far.

Great hosts

The host and hostess were so kind and really went out of their way to make our stay fun. 2 friends traveling without a car can be challenging, but they helped us figure it all out.

Homely, relaxing time with super attentive hosts in a great location

The B&B is in a very quiet residential area, but still close enough to town (around a 20 minute walk). The hosts, Celene and Charles, are extremely warm and friendly people who couldn't do enough for me! The breakfast includes a cooked plate and continental options (yoghurts, cereal, fruit etc). It's worth noting that meat isn't served on the breakfast, so if you're a big meat lover that could be disappointing for you, but I didn't mind. The place itself was completely spotless, the shower was perfect, and the bed really comfortable. Celene and Charles allowed me to eat my takeouts at their dining table when I couldn't be bothered to go out for dinner. We had really nice chats and I am looking forward to going back to Tranquility B&B when I'm next in Sligo. Thank you, Celene and Charles!

The room wasn't technically finished (the wardrobe had some decorating left to do inside). I didn't care about this but some people might be sticklers for the room being "perfect".
